No preference, they seem to have shops all over the place these days anyway, all with 30+ courtesy cars parked out the front

Well, I've had bad experience from the Deer Park one along with another member here. The owner or in charge there is a young guy which tried to milk my money and did apparently stuff another members car on here....

Thinking I want a GS now...I'll let Leigh post his times lol

Haha yeah good quick daily with no cop troubles :D

So yeah was 2 degrees up at heathcote and track was very dewy and glazed they had to call it off just after 9 so only got in 3 runs.

first run was just sussing out the track 12.2 @ 126mph with a 2.2 60ft, really just let off line slowly.

2nd run did a 11.61 @ 126mph with 1.85 60ft (more like it but knew it had bit more in it)

3rd run bit later in the night again and you could really tell track wasn't up to scratch 11.8 @ 126mph with a lot of wheel spin then that was it.

I had the gopro on helmet so i'll post up my 11.61 run

Apart from ripping you off how was the workmanship? I'm not paying for it so cost doesn't bother me

Not too sure about the workmanship as my stolen car was towed to them until my insurance picked it up, just glad I didn't have to deal much with them.

Been to WestWood Auto Body Shop on Westwood drive, while their customer service was good, their workmanship wasn't the best. Having to get them redo my car twice before getting it to a decent level.

First visit, the rear bumper wasn't repaired properly as the cracks in the bumper were still visible. Second time it had about 3-4 drops of clear coat almost the size of rain drops...

If they're willing to be dodgy in one aspect of the business, I'd be concerned about their attitude towards other practices like workmanship too...likely have apprentices working on your car and save time cutting corners etc.

Like those horror workshops who charge people 50k to tek screw their body kits on.

11.6? damn. what tyres?

stock engine with bolt-ons (injectors, turbo, exhaust and ECU) won't crack 200 and still I cost me $600 for a tune. I'm thinking its worthy getting work done on it now while it's out. the block still requires machining to convert to FWD

got call from engine builder last night... spun 1 bearing, scoring on saddle and caps, cam lobes and springs damaged... sounds like I might have over-revved it too :S which I kinda remember doing at sandown. my shift light should get chucked in once back on the road and then get an electrical-cut rev limiter...

Street tyres nitto nt05

I reckon with some proper slicks on a good night would be very close to a 10

I love how it was one of the quickest there and I just drive home :D apparently it was pretty funny cos of how quiet the car is compared to the ones I was racing

Home Alone didnt have a plot twist.

Lost In Translation didnt have a plot twist.

Monsters Inc. didnt have a plot twist.

Every Stanley Kubric probably didnt have a plot twist.

Oliver Twist didnt have a plot twist.

Twister didnt have a plot twist.

The Plot To Kill Hitler didnt have a plot twist.

Joey and the Plot Twist didnt have a plot twist.

Home Alone - kid got left home alone

Lost In Translation - when bill murray's character meets a chick you expect him to fall in love with she instead makes him remember he loves his family

Monsters Inc. - the monster realise that scaring children is bad

Oliver Twist - after getting kicked out of the orphanage he ends up around criminals, which in turn reminds him that he doesn't want to be like them

Twister - dude is trying to divorse his mrs because of her tornado obsession, but then ends up chasing tornado's with her

Every Stanley Kubric - the shining.... is just a series of plot twists joined together. clockwork orange has alex turning good and then bad again. full metal jacket has private pile commit suicide

The Plot To Kill Hitler - hitler was in a room of trusted officers when one of them placed a suitcase full of explosives next to him (albeit on the wrong side of the table leg) after surviving this hitler became much more cautious.

Joey and the Plot Twist - this is just something you made up.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
    • Hi.. Just another problem. So maybe you can help. I(my mechanic) done swap from my RB20DE NEO to RB25DET NEO. Everything is OK but we have a boost cut. Coils/Plugs are ok...AFM is ok. ECU is ok. I have Walbro 255 but it "changed" sound few months ago(you can hear it ouside) you did not hear that when it was new(maybe faulty?) Sooo...what now? What can cause this boost cut? It is even when you standing still...
