Wait... So is this the car who's owner posted above? Why's it saying in the article that its owned by the Tran twins?

(I'm surprised it's not running an SR20... though I guess they do pull a premium before WTAC...)

The article says BYP is owned by the twins

I stand corrected... Article is pretty vague however... If its going to be their promo car, they sure are ripping him off a lot... and if the EG has moved on from BYP, that WTAC article really shouldn't still be there promoting the car... That said, it was probably written over a month ago..

Drove my first Porsche (only a cayman) today. Very low to the ground with small windscreen. Cockpit feels very similar to the s2k.

The PDK gearbox was cool, it rev matched on deceleration & gears changed without feeling anything

Handled quite well and suspension was firm. Could only imagine how much fun it would be with a proper engine :P

I did like the engine being behind, did sound nice when I gave it some poke

they sorely need more power though, they are gutless wonders.

Was considering one as a daily for this very reason! Daily + weekender in one!

Reliability and expenses scare me though!

bosses ones have been fairly reliable (3x cayennes (2 diesel, 1 GTS) + cayman + 911 turbo)

only real issues have been the radio/bluetooth randomly dropping out/not connecting.

Average wage is a rort.... It is skewed by high income earners and not corrected by people on negative income

Median wage is just over $50k which seems somewhat legit.

FWIW the average wage in ACT is $85k (no prize in guessing why)

i dont make the average wage for the ACT.

dissapoint :(

Can confirm driving Euro is a slow death. Current daily is a 2001 auto astra.

Had to put this in my driveway for a day or two to remind me of what its like to drive a real car (even though its technically euro... but I guess so is a honda accord)

yes, but its a euro with a toyota drive line. so its not always broken.

The GPS unit is f**king useless too.

Way to play catch up in Vic wl.

500k borrowed for first home? Is this normal? Don't these hypothetical young couples have a decent deposit?

even my normally fairly broke ass will only be borrowing ~300k on my first place in a year or two. who needs their first place to be worth 500k + deposit.

    • I can see between the water jacket and cyl 3 there wasn't a hard line of combustion gas. It certainly appears that the issue is coming from there. Yes, checked the tension. All at 100ft lbs where I set them 5 years ago. These blocks can crack but generally when they have been over bored. Mine is only 0.5mm oversize at 89.5mm. They break between cylinders around the 91mm mark. No sign of that with mine. My gut feeling is the head gasket lifted a while back when the studs stretched and i bandaided it by retorquing the studs. It's finally let go.

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
