with 90's nissans, do you think the airbag light only covers the airbag deploy equipment (gas, charge etc) or do you think it covers the actual sensor(s) as well?

I think sensors are part of the light, could be wrong.

thanks Grant,

Just found the Series2 N15s is Aus (which didnt offer passenger airbags, cheap bastards) had an accelerometer in the steering wheel/driving column. not a sensor. hmmm answers my question.

apparently JDM or Euro N15s with passenger airbags had an accelerometer behind the handbrake lever

i have meatier tyres, but you gotta pull them off those v35 sedan wheels, because those wheels dont fit the gtt.

Hmm... that means I have to get another set of wheels or ask Tony if it's ok with him for me to do that to his wheels. I'll see how I go with finding another set of wheels.

I swear RWC places/Vicroads are there to troll car owners.

forum broken?

Works ok for me.

if you want, i have a set of gtt wheels you can take along with the v35 wheels lol.

Now, that isn't a bad idea... Need to borrow dads Corolla to fill the wheels up.

Would my AVS Model 6's fit Grant, they've got a heap of meat on them... like 80%?

And about IE... IE rocks nowdays... We're not still using IE6 anymore... there's a reason that it's used a lot in the business world still, its actually pretty easy to manage and lock down in a large environment, unlike other browsers out there... and it integrates with other MS products very nicely.

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
