Yes I remember you had an avatar of one for quite some time hence I mentioned.

Then it seems you are never satisfied, dezz. But I do agree, cars are shit these days without spending an absolute fortune and anything decent from the 90's / early 00's is getting old in the tooth.

Will be properly looking into these supercharger kits for the 86 on Monday. From what I gather: 4-5k fitted, ADR complianced and engineered, all bolt on components with ecu reflash. 170rwkw without an exhaust on conservative boost; not uncommon to get 210rwkw from an exhaust and a little more boost. In a great handling 1200kg rwd, that's good/dangerous fun!

that will be awesome!

That's actually good price...

Need to drive one of these 86 to see what's the fuss is all about, rode in one at deca and it was fun.

Just got that fun "go kart" feel that you get from a little buzz box; cockpit interior, in tune with the vehicle controls/feedback. You have to hit the corners though. They are no more special than a sporty little modern-looking car around town. I think they did a good job of capturing the essence of the AE86, being that it wasn't the fastest car at the time (still decent performance), but people loved to thrash/chuck them about. A lot of Hondas like the Integra and Prelude are like that. Would I want more power from factory? Yep. But it stands on it's own where it matters. Be a great beginner track car if you can afford to spend that on a track car.

Add a blower and I think that's the difference between 8/10 and 9.9/10.

Do want something with some go...driving an excel/EA since selling my 33 so its been a long time between fun drives.

Leaning more towards prestige/euro... 34 gtr would be good but they're 13 years old now...

As far as evos go they've never really done it for me generally speaking, but if I were to get one I'd say the 8 shape is more to my liking over the 10.

Cars are just shit these days, maybe I should get a Panigale....

Pretty happy with my liberty, plenty of go, and the flat 6 sounds great at high rpm

So a s14...but more expensive ;)

Border Security is fkin hilarious. So many liars.

Middle-aged Asian women are the worst; terrible liars.

Someone smuggling drugs hidden inside engine pistons, clever...

Just wondering lol

Are the 32 brakes as over engineered from the factory as a lot of nissans? aka, can handle double the power and still stop it find on the track with just some upgraded pads?

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product, that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
