Yay! I've decided to supercharge the 6L and car is booked in for the 30th to get the charger fitted and tuned :woot:

Decided to go for one of these bad boys, mainly because it looks stock-ish:

lol nothing says Stealth like writing on the cover advertising that it is Stealth...

Hahahha I know, I'm hoping the "Stealth Force" and "Harrop" are removable. Not sure what I'm going to do with the "Supercharged" embossing on the side covers though :(

WIL B STELF M8!

Anywhoooo, planning on running E85 but I'm in Pakenham and even though there is a United quite literally 1km from my house, they don't have E85 :(

Might be a noob question but are regular plastic jerry cans E85 proof?

I am sick of leaky jerry cans. If it doesnt leak when screwed on, it leaks when trying to fill anything. If i go E85 im going metal: 4WD style.

Yeah i use plastic jerry cans for my e85

Don't 100% trust it not leaking so it is slightly on an upright angle when in the boot

The yellow ones from bunnings are meant to be pretty good, cheap for their size and good seal at the cap.

Saaaweeet! I'll keep that in mind, cos otherwise I would be going to Supershit Auto and buying something there.

Re "stealth" charger

I'm guessing from that pic the part that says supercharged is removable?

Quick google says a lot of people were unhappy with the stealth kit until they got a smaller pulley

Yeah, the side covers that say "Supercharged" are removable but would really love to keep them on as they add to the "complete" look.

Shame it says supercharged, especially when it says "stealth" on the charger cover. WTF!

Is it about the dude with a VE HSV Senator? The guy is a goose, kept most of his exhaust standard and uses undersized extractors then complains when he can't get past 320rwkw. Apparently it was all in the tune cos he ended up reeling off over 500rwhp.

Also, I'm running a boost friendly cam and have a proper exhaust AND I shall be running the smaller pulley (aka boost upgrade) too ;) YYYYYEEEAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

So when we lining up :P

Also, any of you skyline peeps want to buy 114.3 19x9.5 +30 19x8.5 +17 varrstoens with NT05s? rears are pretty shagged doe.. :D

Hahaha when I know for sure that I'll beat you :P

    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?

    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
