You don't need new anything, you need a fuel system that supports the flow capacity

If your current stuff can do that then you can keep it

New lines and rail are unnecessary, pump and injectors is all that really needs an upgrade assuming your current ones are unfit

well that would be stupid if he has something that will obviously not make it, like 500cc injectors for example

he would just have to pay for tuning twice....

although that WOULD be a fairly Mohsen result

What injectors / fuel pump / etc are in the car at the moment?

You're not making insane power so don't worry about lines / surge tanks / rails at all.

I would look at estimated power levels and install injectors and fuel pump to suit, before the E85 tune, or you'll be back to Racepace 5 times over the next 2 months and complain about it every step of the way.

exactly.

car has
walbro 255lph pump
stock injectors
stock rail.
wouldnt take any more ignition timing and detonated when more boost was added. so gonn get some cam gears and hopefully solve that problem.

current wish list is z32s, id1000s, cam gears and some brand new coil packs.

Object fixation is a bitch

Never look at where you don't want to go lol, at least until you're experienced enough to control the bike independently of your vision

I'll know when I'm there if I don't hit a pole after looking at it

Can't remember what color is what... Then Broadfords colors are different again just to make it worse

From memory white is slow / inexperienced, green is moderate / experienced (2 minutes and above laptimes), red is balls out / below 2 minutes.

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
