So where are these genuine T4 divided rears for GT35's? I can only find genuine divided T3 or crappy T4 divided ATP housings?

I was saying last night at our SAU meeting that someone was chasing a T4 rear... It was you :P I think Lithium had a heads up on where to find them?

Dumb - I went to get a link and realised it was only T3 divided, not that it should be a show stopper - but T4 would be more ideal due if nothing else to the commonality of T4 Divided "things".

I called GCG and apparently they only have non-genuine T4 Divided housings to suit GT35's.

Wouldn't recommend using them if you intend on pushing it at all

My mates Evo has run a few twinscroll HTA Turbos.

HTA3582R with 1.06 A/R Rear Housing - Made 450kW

HTA3586R with 1.06 A/R Rear Housing - Made 500kW

Difference is about 2-300RPM in spool.

The HTA3586R is the BEST all round forced performance turbo you can buy unless your running really big boost like 40+psi. But under 40psi, the HTA3586R will be more responsive and make similar power as the HTA3794R's.

I ALMOST went to a HTA3586R. But just didn't due to $$ that I was spending elsewhere on the car..

On a pissy 2 litre youd be right , on a Rb30 , the 3794 should walk away easy on less than 30psi i would have thought

I'd love to try a FP4294 or 3794 on a sohc, just the normal garret 4294 was a very good thing with a auto and

small 8.5 inch torque converter

cheers

Yeah I reckon! The new Super94 (which basically outperforms the 3794/PT6766/pretty much any 67mm turbo in spool and flow apparently) is actually for sale for a REALLY reasonable price considering what it is capable of, here's hoping there are other turbine housings available on request for the bigger motor guys as the .85 seems a little small - though the Boostin Performance DSM trapped at 177mph so it would have to be putting out near >1000hp with the thing, so maybe the flow is suited and conventional wisdom could be overlooked in this instance:

I'd expect it would be totally streetable on a 3litre - imagine of street/drag weapon something like that could be?

here the link for the T4 TS housings for the GT35R 1.06A/R. I think the A/R is a bit big for me because im just chasing 400kw with something with reasonable response.

They are not very expensive aswell

Looks like an ATP housing, we were playing with a BW S300SX 8375 and a GT3582R (with ATP 1.06a/r T4 TS) housings a while ago comparing the general turbo stuff and there was a definite difference in quality etc - GT3582R on the right:

^ I think its got to do with the casting process and quality of steel used.

Yep - that is my understanding too. Here's one a 1.06a/r one from a E85 guzzling S15 race car from here which demonstrates what concerns me:

Anyone managed to find the T4 twin scrolls for the HTA3582 i would probably just bite the bullet and get one.??

these guys offer t4 divided?

Thats the ful unit though im trying to source out a housing and maybe would make it cheaper because $2269. Is a lot and its not proven on RB25 though it has some serious potential packed

You know its going to make insane power and lag will be very little in comparison to equal sized turbos, the results would be the same sort as mine just on a higher scale!

the price is what is holding me back but if i get a fat tax back this is what im getting. if its not as i like resale shouldnt be hard with a few hundred off the price

Depends on where you want to compromise and what you think you will get the most reward from, you can definitely save a reasonable amount of money and still get respectable performance - however with this there is less risk you are going to look back and think... Maybe this could be better, but now I have spent the money.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
