You'd have to say that buying through one of the services such as Iron Chef, JLM, Prestige, J Spec etc would have to be safer AND cheaper than buying from a dealer in Aus. That way you'll see the genuine auction sheet pre purchase as well as receive the dereg etc.

Meh, I personally don't like the idea of not seeing the car in the flesh. But yes, if I was to import I would go through a broker.

The agents of the brokers can take as many pictures as you want for you, but in the end they are not panel beaters, and you also have to be very knowledgeable yourself to interpret these pictures.

We are still here guys.

That car is genuine and I personally guarantee that it didnt have 184,000kms.

Its good to see that we have 1 post wonders on here and keyboard warriors from other dealers still trying to shut down the legitimate dealers.

This car has full service history, log books and De Reg Certificate and funny enough we just took a deposit on it pending finance.

I suppose the service history and Japanese De-Reg certificate is not enough proof? Lol...:)

A BIG THANK YOU to those that support us.

Pity the De-Reg cert proves absolutely nothing, nor do 'log books'

Don't waste Admin time by reporting threads that have factually proved you to be incorrect.

So Joe from Xtreme Motorsports tried to get this thread locked or deleted, rather than explaining the "misunderstanding"?

Interesting.

I noticed that this thread is on page one of a Google search for Xtreme Motorsports.

And immaculate or very clean aren't terms that should be used for an R grade sh*t bucket from Japan.

Anyway, this looks like another rubbish accident grade example tarted up and flogged off as "very clean".

I think we need to go easy on the R grade thing. For a start - in the case of the Stagline it is unclear whether it has been graded R due to there being evidence of an accident - or whether it is a case that so many of the panels have been replaced (due to the nature of the mods). In the case of the other R grade vehicles i'm willing to give Xtreme the benefit of the doubt that the vehicles have been inspected properly, any damage was not structural, and the repair job is up to professional standards.

My issue is with the windback - not the grading. The only reason I went for Ed Lees on a similar R grade car in another thread is that he was stupid enough to post a YouTube video where when talking about the car he says and repeats the phrase "no accident vehicle".

Anyone that thinks he can go to a dealer and buy a grade 5A car is kidding themselves. It makes no business sense for a dealer to try selling a 5A example. Of the many cars I have seen dealers selling recently (and their corresponding auction sheet) the highest grade i've seen is a 4B. Many were 3.5's.

Out of interest, what kms where they originally claiming? 80/90,000kms?

Looks like the dealer website has been amended to reflect the auction sheet km's for the R32 GT-R. As promised here is the screenshot of the dealer website prior to the correction:

HqdeUUNl.jpg

Interestingly the other cars seem to have remained as they were.

BIG thankyou to the guys out there that take the time to name and shame! I'm in the market for a skyline now and have come up against all sorts of bastardised imports. Enough to sway me away from them and towards the local 350z's..

Without bagging the dealers etc etc - Lets just hope someday one of the Paramatta rd dealers man's up and starts selling cars that are legit, and advertised as such. Publish the paperwork even! It may have higher kms, and cost a bit more, but you'd likely get my business, and I'm sure once your reputation came up even slightly, you'd get more.

For anyone else out there new to this stuff and shopping around - as above, do your home work! Do the checks. Ask questions from people who have no vested interest in the car/s you like and learn a few tricks along the way. SAU is a great place to start!

Poor guy who put a deposit on the gtr, hope he sees this thread and sues them.

Also, for changing the advertisement after a deposit was placed? A little deceiving isn't it.

Dodgeyimports, i'm sure you'll be getting threatening messages soon. :domokun:

You think your smart Mr Dodgy Imports. You are hilarous and cunning.

Just remember that I know who you are and know exactly what your trying to do to us.

Its a shame that you cant show your face as your accusations to us and other dealers are very serious.

By the way the Stock numbers are not specifically the chassis numbers Mr Dodgy Imports.

Also some of the cars you mentioned arent imported or purchased by us and are here for a friend on consignment.

You can say all you want but the real documentation is here for all to see and anybody is welcome to pop

in and see them at anytime.

I wont be argueing or debating with anyone as its a waste of time and breathe as we here know the truth

and have nothing to hide.

Good luck to those that want to doubt our stock and if so please buy elsewhere as it doesnt bother us.

We sell genuine cars to genuine people and proud to do so.

For those that have dealt with us and back us up Thank You once again and they already know what the truth is.

Guys please ensure you do not go making claims that people are "Fraud's" etc. That is not fair, stick to posting facts only and threads like this can live on... If you guys don't, then threads like this get shut down.

Joe, I just hope you aren't getting ripped off, you guys can do it yourselves these days. :P

Everyone knows it has been going on for years, and most importers were doing the shave... The industry is stained long term no matter how clean you are now.

If that is all true, then you are more than welcome to scan the 'real documentation' that you have at hand and put this issue to bed once and for all. Posting up a random attacking comment against the person who posted what appears to be legitimate evidence, does not really help your cause.

For your sake I hope that you are telling the truth and if you are it should be very easy for you to provide the proof and clear your name.

Lol. I have heard of this but never ever seen it for sale.

I wouldnt attempt it as I believe there is jail sentence involved and big dollars in fines.

I would rather have a great night sleep over sleepless nights.

Good evening,

This is my first post here.

I am the owner of Japanese Odometer Check.

Our facebook page can be found at www.facebook.com/JapOdoCheck

Rewinding km's is big in the Japanese Import Industry and I am not here to accuse but I will discuss more over PM with proof.

Every customer I have had who has purchased their car from an import dealer in Sydney has had evidence of k's being wound back. Support a legitimate business and like the page.

Again, I chirped into this topic as I found it relevant.

I may or may not have facts against this dealer that I wish/do not wish to discuss in public on this forum but if you contact me for a chat via facebook ; I will be more then happy to share what I know.

Regards,

JOC

Welcome Mr JOC.

Not all dealers tamper with mileage. You categorise everyone in your statement.

If thats the case can you please check the following for me:

CT9A-0302640 (40519kms)

CT9A-0205391 (54803kms)

BNR32-313541 (107732kms)

CT9A-0205736 (69300kms)

CP9A-0104724 (71541kms)

These are some of the cars we have in stock at the moment.

If they come through different to whats showing on the odometer I will close my business and give up.

If you like post them up to for all to see and I will compare them to mine to see if you are genuine.

Lets wait and see.

If that is all true, then you are more than welcome to scan the 'real documentation' that you have at hand and put this issue to bed once and for all. Posting up a random attacking comment against the person who posted what appears to be legitimate evidence, does not really help your cause.

I have submitted chassis numbers to JOC. Now lets see who's fake?

I can't get past the fact that the kilometres on the grey GTR were originally reported as one figure on the website and then following this post changed to 134K.

That was actually uploaded through our system wrong as we had another white 1993 GTR that was traded in with those kms as you can check now.

We are humans and make mistakes. There are no hidden agendas here.

On a final note everyone. If you have any questions or queries please dont hesitate to send me a PM.

We have nothing to hide and I dont need to sit here all day worrying about foolish stuff and what

people say etc... Wait and see what JOC has to say about the chassis numbers that I have posted publicly and

we will go from there.

This will show you all the truth and hopefully we can get back to business.

I would much prefer seeing the cars posted by dodgey being verified than random picks to help your case.

So JOC, if joe says its okay, turn those ones up on the previous page

* We on the Executive of SAU.NSW have helped several Members out (and even non-members) by inspecting cars for them on request.

* To my knowledge, we've inspected two cars at Xtreme Motorsport since 2011, and did further research.

* One car was on consignment and was purchased. The other was not: and this other car was sold elsewhere.

* Our Execs receive requests via PM from time to time about a whole array of grey import cars from USA and Japan

* We do not sit idly by and simply observe Members getting scammed. We are a club affiliated with CAMs and not a government authority.

We will report anyone who furnishes cars for sale that have false odometer readings or re-anodises a build plate to assist making it look like a Nur.

    • What 1.5 way? There's no such thing really as a 1.5 way, just different ways of explaining 2 ways with different ramp rates. HOWEVER. In any driving in a straight line your 1.5 or 2 or 1.7 way should have no clunking at all. With the clutch fully depressed the diff should be silent (unless it's welded but I'm assuming it's not). Something aint right here.
    • Clutch is a spec brand, new clutch system,( PP, flywheel, friction disc, etc. pull type) installed 100 miles ago, with no problems.
    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?
