had some friends over the other day and had 2 playstations on 2 TVs next to each other... and I couldnt believe how f**king difficult it was to get a game going sitting next to each other.

We all got so frustrated at the cops ruining our fun and the massive load times/crashes.

Decided next time we returning to GTA4 on PC for proper shenanigans.

a) its easy to use and setup

b) simple trainer.

c) see b).

Did try out the new race editor on GTAO and it was kind of like a very restricted forge for Halo. Was funny for about 10mins making a golf course deathmatch filled with tonka trucks and massive yachts in the small lakes, and then testing contanstly respawning AI with golf clubs.

But hours of fun was had making a race course starting at the top of mt chilliad and rolling the whole way down without dying, then trying to reach near-impossible checkpoints on pier with large vehicles :P

Yeah I still have alot of fun playing it. Been making a heap of cash the past few times I played

Should have a crew night sometime. More RP and cash plus can get some shit done (getting everyone some race wins for mods etc)

Neat little easter egg I found:

when you go to buy the Elegy RH8 (R35 clone) online, the caption says "you can finally own this legendary supercar slayer without the fear of having your door kicked in by the FIB because they'd rather crush import cars than catch terrorists".

A reference to the Motorex Skyline seizures?

Haha, I'm just imagining some really cynical bitter skyline fan working over there at Rockstar

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
