It appears that c0ck sucker Lewis is back with his BS rhetoric-victim mentality

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/114066

Also interesting to be reading can Dan beat Mercedes. The fact they are talking about Dan looking more at one with the car still and closer to the Mercs. Would be an incredible first win

Wasn't Homo picked up by McLaren when he was 10 or so? He can hardly say he had to struggle to get where he was. Fair enough he must have shown talent to get there but still, plenty of other drivers had to work alot harder to get there.

Seems like whenever he is winning races he is a dickhead, then when he is losing he goes all depressed and gets a bit more humble about life.

You dont get to F1 or win a WDC by not working hard. Yes he is being a dickhead but he is also obviously trying to fk with Britneys head and ensure he dominates him for the reast of the season.

In contrast here is a bloke dominating his team mate and yet showing some actual class:

Dan is smart enough to know Seb hasnt won 4 drivers championships on pure luck. He knows Seb will come back at him, and he is being quite humble about his performance so far which shows his class. Dan has impressed me on and off the track so much this year. Would be great to see him win a race before the years out, and hopefully he will be Australias next world champion

Would be brilliant to see him win at Monaco in tribute to Jack Brabham who won his first ever Grand Prix there in 1959. Too much to ask?

If he can nail the start and exit that first corner at the front of the field he stands every chance of winning.

Yep, that's how webber won here, and how britney won here last year. As long as you're top 2 or 3 going into the last pit stops, and leading after the stops then as long as you keep the car off the walls, and keep clear of Maldonado (who should've crashed by then anyway) then you should be able to block your way to the win

it stated as follows pretty much

Racing in the Renault World Series in 2005, the 27-year-old ignored yellow flags before striking and severely injuring a marshal.
Organisers of the Monaco grand prix reacted by banning Maldonado from the street circuit for life.
Germany's Bild revealed that Maldonado's wealthy father intervened, promising to pay for the marshal's recovery and rehabilitation from a broken back.
That intervention saved Maldonado's future Formula One career, as no team would hire a regular driver that cannot participate in the sport's most famous race.

Oh dear..

    • Lets say I wanted to buy this, specifically for this purpose. How do I actually perform the function. Can I still buy a Consult-1? Am I about to be burned by the fact my car is a 2000 model Series 2 R34 and thus will be some stupid other system? Do I just need this -> https://obd2australia.com.au/product/nissan-consult-14-pin-to-usb-ddl-diagnostic-interface-with-ftdi-ft232r-chip/ And with what software?
    • That's probably OK. That's a face to face compression joint between two surfaces with the clamping load provided by those bolts. So.... it's unlikely that the bolts will end up feeling that load in shear, unless the clamping surfaces are not large enough, bolts not got enough tension on them, etc etc to prevent the two faces from moving wrt each other. Which... I would hope the designers have considered, seeing as it's probably one of the most important things the upright has to do apart from resist collapsing in its own right. But yes, it would definitely be worth asking them what their safety factor on that part of the design was. I tend to think that the casting, being a casting, is not necessarily the strongest bit of material in the world. It's about an inch square, and when you think about the loads that are being put into it, you have to wonder what safety factor the Nissan boys (and every other OEM engineer who has designed all the millions of other uprights that look essentially the same) used to account for defective casting, aging, severe impacts on the wheel, etc etc.
    • Those bolts would be orders of magnitude stronger that cast aluminium though.  And its mainly clamping force, not shear they are dealing with?
    • Except all that twisting force that is breaking a cast piece, appears to be going through 4 bolts in the picture Johnny posted of the BryPar one...
    • The smart approach is to use the gearbox loom from the manual car. Makes it a lot easier - just plugs into the switches on the box and plugs into the main loom up near the fusebox. Then you only need to deal with bypassing the inhibit switch. The other approach requires you to use the wiring diagram to identify those wires by colour and location, perhaps even indulging in a little multimeter action to trace them end to end to make sure, and then.... you will have the answers you need. The R34 wiring diagram is available on-line (no, I do not have a link to it myself - I would have to do a search if I wasn't able to go to the copy I have at home).
