We need a price of investment v mods v kw approach for assessment on this forum

I have paid lots of $$$$ to get faster

Other times I have paid bugger all and the car was just as good

Would be a awesome feature on this forum

If you are happy, it's a bargain.

yeah.. Yavus is the professor. His background is from a engineering / emissions development on massive diesel machinery.

He gave all that up, big $ job so he can focus on his hobby... Unigroup Engineering.

+1 for unigroup!

I have quite a few people I have a lot respect for the opinions of who rave about Yavuz, so this thread doesn't surprise me :) Very nice - good results, and good show giving credit... often feels like there are too many threads bitching about tuners and products so it's a refreshing post to read :)

Thats a damn solid result with 5's on a 2.6L Marko nice area under the curve! Looks like a blast to drive. Was at unigroup when your car was on the dyno and and they were just starting to add 98 to the mix... Very nice car mate :)

Thanks for the compliment Mick :)

The guys too were impressed with the results and exceeded their expectations, the head is stock! Literally just has some bolt on mods, very mild setup.

Brett - it does skids only with the handbrake haha, I'm sure u would be happy that I followed suit with Paul and replaced my GTRS's so now u can update your Sig :)

One of my mates has had his S15 tuned at unigroup, mild mods, only making 214rwkw, it feels more impressive than other much more "powerfull" cars. (tuned elsewhere)

Well actually, its awesome, chalks 3rd. Customer service is beyond good, will be getting my cefiro tuned there once I've got the highflow on.

Thanks for the compliment Mick :)

lol no won't be needing to change my signature cause it's still true and the word needs to be spread to the people

    • @Supernanoyour car has ended up in my hands and I was wondering if there has been any work done to the motor?
    • Sigh... yeah OEM mount rear battery, very R33, very demure, very mindful.
    • Would need a substantial current draw in the car to make a bunch of sparks. Obvs to now test resistance to ground of the car's B+ lead. If there's a short there, you'll see it. Only likely place for that, as you suspect is alternator. But there is also the possibility that rats have had a chew on some insulation. Shitbox has the battery in the boot, yeah? Plenty of cable to attack.
    • Oh, I thought of that too... I disconnected the battery and hooked up the leads direct to the car without the battery in place. Sparks... I suspect the following: Alternator has decided to kill itself Starter has decided to kill itself I'll recharge the battery, then unplug both, and go from there. The above might take 6 months - however I did buy a Victron 15 AMP trickle charger, apparently it's better than CTEK? Amazon, delivery by tonight. https://www.amazon.com.au/Victron-Battery-Charger-15-Amp-waterproof/dp/B07P4LMMMD?ref_=ast_sto_dp
