This build is taking too long.

Needs wheels up at 300ft action already

Hahaha. Getting there, mate. Crank and valvetrain bits being sent off to Pro Built Engines in QLD today.

Picture one of these but flipped the other way to suit the RB, a 100mm throttle body and a collection of Plazmaclamps to suit. Any thoughts on how it should be finished? Polished, raw, black, other? Stoked to have plazmaman.com involved in another RB engine build.

What is the best looking factory colour combo?

I like red engine covers with raw piping, subtle and purposeful :)

Just curious what head, 26 or NEO, there is so much talk about the NEO head being better then the 26 lately and given it hasn't been mentioned I thought I would ask

Subscribed, looks like it will haul arse

It's a 26 head, mate. To be honest it'll be hogged out that far on the CNC and the bench the casting is the limitation. I doubt one would be better than the other from this perspective.

Yes is dumb

you should have bought a 91

Hahaha. This is the first of the Gen-2 8891. It's a little tougher than the old one and about what a 91 used to be. You never know your luck in the big city though. PTE have been pretty good to me. ;-)
