Edifier's R34 GT-R VS2 is fine. Small leak at offside front > needs attention - that's all.

Will have it check out first thing tomorrow morning, water temp was ok on my way home. And huge thanks to Terry for escorting me back to Sydney. ;)

Large hail forecast for the Hunter.

Newie ppl under cover!

Sydney ppl are outta there right?

Was lucky to completely avoid the hail - took M1 home and stuck in a huge jam about 5k away from Pacific Highway exit. Turned out that trees fell on M1 due to storm so took some time to clear things out. Killara/Lindfiend area looked like they were hit by a typhoon/cyclone, water and leaves everywhere on the road.

Great drive today, really enjoyed it! Already looking forward to the next cruise.

Home.

Hail came through Syd while I was still on the f3.

Sad to hear about The BB 34 not making it Terry. Good on you for helping out *pat on back*

My back is killing me!

I'm not really that nice a person.

I'd do the same for an enemy.

Gotta know what address I send the bell housing. :P

We left the pub pretty early cos me and the mrs were buggered and we drove through that cyclone. Holy crap. Heaviest rain I've ever been through but thankfully no hail.

Thanks for organising guys

Thanks for organising and for everyone coming along. It was a really nice drive!

Managed to catch the storm coming back to Sydney and I couldn't see anything in front of me. It was pretty much just a giant blur of grey haha.

Was a great event. Bernie and me missed the storm completely. Was lucky.

Got stuck in the jam on the M1 before the Wahroonga turn off for a bit. Other than that all clear.

Hailed in Hornsby but we missed it all.

Same here... Started storming as soon as I got home though, but only for 5 minutes.

Really fun day and perfect introduction into the SAU Sydney scene... definitely what I needed to appreciate my Skyline and hang onto it!

Thanks for organising!

Yes great weather on the way up but terrible traffic and weather on the way back, at least I had a 32 to cruise back with Mark, not sure what your forum name is.

Great day though, will post some pics when there's a wrap up thread.

Great day. Nice to meet some of you. Sorry to hear about the traffic and weather for some on the way back down south. Good turnout and hats off to the royal hotel for getting the meals out in good time considering the number of orders they had. Look forward to seeing some pics and to the next event.

Good cruise!!! Plenty of nice cars to look at. Snapped some photos so will upload a few tomorrow night.

Went back to Sydney via the Putty with Mick which seemed like a good idea at the time. The rain ended up pelting down....plus plenty of tree branches & debris on the road etc. Pretty treacherous conditions, especially with well-worn AD08's...but was still good fun lol.

Also...on the putty a bloke with a horse float almost lost it around a right hander.... and on the m4 there was a Chrysler stuck in the flooded right lane as well as a Toyota with its front end smashed in.

That would be me. And yes it was good to drive back with someone :D

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
