Yeah it’s the gktech one, the sleeves fit really well and fits onto the rack well. Haven’t put the suspension in yet 

awesome I tracked it at one point and it hadn’t moved and was going to head down and start asking what the hell

Bolts are at the electroplater and once I’ve got them back I can hook into reassembly

Had a bunch of stuff hydroblasted to make it look fresh when the engine goes back together

Hydroblasting is amazing!  I highly rate its results.  Makes stuff look new again.  Apart from my engine mounts I've never ended up using anything I had blasted but hey, it looks good in a box somewhere!

I can't remember who did it.  It was a few years ago now.  The guy was located in the inner Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne but he would travel around and pickup the parts.  

I was tempted to clear coat the stuff I had done to try and keep it looking that good for longer.

I used hi octane coatings and then they were coated using clear ceramic coating to stop them from looking shit again

Custom pistons have been ordered and should be 6-8 weeks away, hopefully have an engine before Xmas

Ok, do they do Hydro blasting as well? 
clear ceramic coating would be nice and should last

8 weeks puts us at December 18, sure you going to get a motor together by Christmas. 
think we should both aim to have the cars on the road by Christmas…2022! 😂😂😂

Shit I didn’t realize we were that close to Christmas!! ok maybe by February. I have a goal of when i would like it to be running by, I just have to wait and see if I can actually make it happen

ran the wiring harness back in the bay and going to retape the parts in the bay to make it look new,

Pulled the rear housing off the turbo because I swapped it with a mate who’s putting a 6466 into his gtr 

damn those precisions that leak oil straight out of the box

I painted them, they still worked perfectly so just a quick scuff and a lick of paint and they came up a treat
