That's pretty decent in terms of pricing, tempting LOL..

For the money you’d be crazy not to, putting old manky looking bolts in a fresh bay makes it look shit

seeing as I can’t do a great deal with the front at the moment I decided to do some work at the back of the car

in go some rear camber arms to stand the wheels up a lot more

once installed I dialed the camber down to half a degree, the toe is still all over the shop because I didn’t have the string lines to be able to measure it

Lol there no way I’d put up with the lag a turbo big enough to flow that would have

Never say never. You said that about never putting a single turbo on your car too.

Quoted for future reference. 🤪

Lol and that improved response not killed it

Well seeing as I couldn’t go to work because of getting beer flu I decided to work on the gtr once I had enough energy.

Pulled the rest of the interior out and removed the battery wiring, the battery tray ready to re wire the entire boot. Then I fitted the surge tank in the corner of the boot

then started plumbing the tank into the fuel lines I already had

I had to wait for 60° fitting to do the last line as it wouldn’t run where I wanted it to without it

I’ll be wiring in some solid state relays and etc, just need the engine to turn up and the new wiring harness before I wire it all up

Fitted all the brake lines back into the bay with all new clips to hold them onto the firewall

also fitted some nismo braided brake lines as they follow the factory routing and make a lot less nervous that they may end up touching and rubbing through

also some new break clips as it seem the old line stretched the original ones

Then I bled all the brakes using good quality brake fluid, put all the wheels back on and now I pretty much can’t do anything until the engine and wiring harness arrive

Looking nice!  Hard to beat a nice clean engine bay!  I see you’ve given the ABS module a tidy up?  They’re a tricky shape and setup to be able to do much with. So tempted to delete or relocate mine.  Even just route the pipes somewhere else. Lower on the firewall maybe?   Or just stop being a wanker and finish the car! 😂

How have you found the steering feel with the pump in the boot?

Engine bay is looking great.

It’s good, if it wasn’t for the fact you can hear it wind up before you start the car you’d never know

thanks mate

Something little but has been a pain in the ass for ages

the spring for the fuel flap went missing when I gave it to someone for paint matching years ago and I was able to buy one new

quickly clipped it onto the flap and now when I open the door it pops open again. As I said it’s a really small thing but sometimes they make big differences

    • Yeah good luck out there! Will be good to see a mighty GTST going harder than the GTRs
    • i will be there 😁
    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
