While not strictly accurate (like all political propaganda) it's still a disgrace.

There was plenty of industrial action under the previous liberal and labor government's it just wasn't an actual strike.

Last time it was stoppage of trains just before stations to hold everyone up 5-10 mins and throw out all the timing at Flinders st during peak hours which was actually worse than what they are planning now.

They get waaaaay overpaid as it is and it's not like negotiations have broken down to the point where a strike is required.

Free travel that day

Too bad I got a monthly ticket :(

nope....

Metro are getting the non-unionised (surely that won't be that many) AO's to work that day....

They are just saying it's still free to make the striking workers look like victims and demonise Metro when people get fines.

I really don't see how this isn't terrorism or sabotage or extortion.

Like, strike and stay at home or picket, but to fk with the system and innocent people's daily lives like that is rat shit.

Only reason medical personnel don't do it is because there are lives at stake but it's okay for these douchebags to cost the economy millions in lost productivity.

I'm sure those graffiti people who stop the trains so they can tag them would get thrown in jail for years for doing effectively the same thing.

I think terrorism is kinda a stretch.... but it's just pathetic.

fair enough if they were underpaid/overworked but nigga plz

Probably 10 days living in tokyo shibuya, then 5-6 in osaka.

Visit nara/kyoto whilst staying in osaka.

Visit fuji whilst staying in tokyo, or maybe stay one night in onsen at fuji.

hiroshima dunno.

Might be squeezing korea in for 4 days or so.

I dont think we want to be doing day trips with our luggage... What's wrong with leaving luggage back at accommodation and doing day trips?

Kyoto/nara are 1hour train from osaka. Hiroshima 2.5hr train from osaka (but we might stay in hiroshima for a night or 2)

Fuji is 2hr train from tokyo if we make it a day trip.

Boss left today for a 2 week holiday, then a 4 week working trip visiting distributors around the world...

HR is on a call as we speak to an agency, either to replace me or to get on board in case I do run out the door (even though I've said that I'm not going to) or to get me an assistant to reduce this workload.

Spoke to one of the girls in Accounts about the whole thing and she says that she's seen nothing to indicate I'm about to get let go. She's the one I leaked info to, knowing that she'd tell people... So was very careful in my wording about the whole thing.

We'll see over the next few days I guess... in the meantime, I'm banging out as many tasks as possible and helping out everyone in the office, to counteract the possibility of others planting the seeds of disloyalty...

Unrelated, going out to Bells Hot Chicken for dins with some track day mates. Should be a good time.

    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
    • Or, is it a case of what it is like owning an R series Skyline? NFI what the previous owner has done or fiddled with... Ha ha ha After reading through this thread, I went on a bit of a research about the Q50/Q60. Now I'm quite intrigued by them! Is the AWD in them more like a WRX where it's always AWD, or is it more like the ATTESSA in the GTRs? By the sound of this TCU tuning, this sounds like a case of someone has made some real software for it, and you just need the right piece of hardware, and then you license that specific vehicle/TCU. Or is this a case of the software will be really expensive so only a few tuners have it, and you still have to pay a license per vehicle?
    • By popular demand.. it was a coil. Got my hands on 1 new OEM coil, replaced with the one that made the less noise difference when I unplugged it while the car was running and started the car up. No stutter and the engine light was gone. I guess I’ll buy the other 5 they have lol
    • No, code 21 is very straightforward. It can only be the things described in that diagnostic flow. In fact it has no way of knowing that the spark plug resistance is out of spec.
