TOP DEFINITION

The act of placing the head of ones penis inside the foreskin of another's penis.
David and Patrick enjoyed docking immensely because of Patty's stretchy foreskin.

Macron v Le Pen

This should be an interesting indication as to whether the world is gravitating towards a sharply nationalist agenda or simply rejecting the political status quo.... Particularity given the recent attacks in France

I dunno if electing Macron is exactly rejecting the status quo, given he's likely to do not much except roll on with the same policies that got them to where they are now

Tfw a former socialist party member is widely referred to as a "centrist"...

When many right wing pundits are holding classical feminist views from the 70s/80s, for true equality and are tolerant of homosexuality etc. it's easy to see why people might mistake left wing socialists for centrists.

Makes me wonder what the political spectrum will look like in 20 years time if this infinite gender shit ever catches on and becomes mainstream. Maybe we'll go Möbius strip and the anti-establishment right that brought about Trump will bring us full circle.

One thing is for certain though...socialism sucks a fat one.

He's not from any of the major established parties and has only spent a short time in politics.

It would be the equivalent of us electing say Clive Palmer as PM. Sure he's a business man and probably will be no different but the status quo is really just liberal then labor then liberal then labor rinse & repeat until the end of time.

Having said that Macron has the same background as our own PM so I certainly see your point

Business laptops have additional features such as docking capabilities etc. (nohomo)

Also business models come with pro versions of Windows, all look the same regardless of specs (that's a very important feature so you don't get people whining that they got a laptop that does all they need instead of one that's better because someone else needed a better one and got one), generally have better warranty, for extra cost can have deeply integrated management for IT to reimage remotely etc

For larger businesses it makes sense, for smaller businesses it's a waste of money.

So Le Pen, just ditched her party and is running solo. I suppose that answers the question on the nationalism issue and moves the choice more towards birds' point [emoji848]

Don't know enough about this election to make a call on it, unlike the states where I knew Trump had a good chance. But I've been observing immigration and terrorism issues on the world stage over the last couple of years and the correlations these days seem too strong for joe public to ignore. My feeling is that those innate defense mechanisms we've held onto for thousands of years are really starting to kick in and influence political choices over the more first world preferences people used to vote on, like taxes...

Also I have a Docking station for my work laptop and it's the best shit ever

What laptop you got?

Informed boss that Microsoft don't support win7 any more and that very few laptops come with win7, and that nobody manufacturers laptops that suit old docking stations anymore... So he sends me a link to a laptop that was released in 2013, and says others are using them. Yeah, because they were purchased in 2013...

Old docking stations used to clip into the back of the laptop like this https://www.mwave.com.au/product/dell-eport-ii-simple-port-replicatorfor-select-dell-latitude-notebooks-ab67293?gclid=CjwKEAjw5_vHBRCBtt2NqqCDjiESJABD5rCJ-tI2L7UDasl0Uxva2MHmj-nLrKxUVBH5ovyjocOs3xoC_Ofw_wcB

New ones normally connect using USB 3 or USB C and act more like a port replicator https://www.bbitonlineshop.com.au/products/dell-uhd-4k-usb-3-0-port-replicator-d3100-452-11714?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=googlepla&variant=26645680395

There's even some that function over High Speed Local Wireless between the Laptop and the Dock, even for things like 4K video... but they're flakey at best.

my lenovo has whats called a mini dock where it just plugs in to the power connection in the laptop.

works great.

My home Samsung goes via USB-C but as there only 1 port it limits what can be done, and have some bandwidth prob if I have a few things connected at same time. so if trying to stream HDMI and access say a USB stick run into issues

(That said it is only my mobile media device, to stream foxtel and movies when I travel so it is a low power lightweight unit).

Whilst the new USB docks are great, there's still laptops that use or benefit off the HP/Dell etc. docks - I actually prefer these so theres no plugging in of USB or power cable, just slots straight on and bam straight back into it.

My current work one is just a USB3 dock, drives my 3 screens & network fine

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
