It looks super clean! Leather interior (if factory) is seriously uncommon. The leather looks mint tho.

150k's ain't bad. You don't have a turbo to deal with when the kay's get higher either.

I love the dibs, too. Hard to enforce though. :D

Do a revs check

Do a Japanese odometer history check

Ask questions about vehicle history, owners, why did it need a respray etc

check steering wheel, carpet, handbrake, sills etc for wear and tear. Those seats aren't factory, see if you can get a look under the leather covers, if they are covers.

Braided fuel lines? A few mods are questionable and need close inspection.

The car looks to have been touched all over. It looks amazing for sure. But sometimes this can be a sign that it has had a few 'dodgy' mods done.

Check the car with a fine tooth comb.

Best intro post ever.

If you were fully serious (and one day intend to track).

Get a NA R34, then when the time comes.. 350Z brembos, RB30DET, Sequential Box, 2 Way LSD

Because even with a GT-t or GTS-t the factory brakes, gearbox, diff, motor end up in the bin when you get serious.

thanks everyone for your great advice. I'm so tempted to impulse buy just caus of the condition its in, but i reckon i'll just stick it out and wait for something with better value for money

But .... That leather...

LOL I got a leather set for mine - genuine SIII GTR's - had them restored and re-dyed/coloured etc and never fitted them. Got another set of velour GTR one and put then in and to this day can't make up my mind which ones to sell!!! prob never will...

    • Hi GTSBoy, Excuse my ignorance but what does a "Bad" Knee point mean ?
    • HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
    • The ATTESSA is functionally identical to R34; there were a bunch of JDM models that continued ATTESSA including Fuga/Q70, Skyline/Q50, Cima etc as an option. All with Auto only and I think mostly for snow regions. AFAIK there were no AWD VR30DDTT sold in Australia - it is on my to do list to check regs for racing a LHD car in Targa/ATR/AASA/CAMS events because if I can get the auto to work it would be interesting to run a 4wd car The Ecuteck TCM tuning is the same model as their ECU tuning, they already have it for R35 and Dose's favourite, BMW. You buy "points" to allow your computer to be tuned, buy either a bluetooth (phone app) or bluetooth+USB+Key (phone and PC) dongle, and pay for a tune that will be locked to your tuner ( ). You can also access the tuning software yourself but 1. it is mega expensive and 2. these computers have a billion parameters that intersect, so how could you ever spend enough time on it to get a decent result.
