First pic its the oem boost solenoid. Do you have some sort of boost controller installed?

Second one looks to be somekind of diy switch. Could be for anything really. Possibly a power switch for aftermarket gauges, lights or something like that. Only way to find out is to follow the wires

First picture is a boost solenoid which may have been connected some type of boost controller before it was unplugged.

Second photo is a on/off for something as others have said - if you want to find out take it out and then follow the wiring. My guess is it was for something boost related but has since been removed. Very stealthy to have it mounted by the door.

Third photo is a fire extinguisher holder. Most Skylines (all, if I’m not mistaken) came with portal fire extinguishers but most have been removed.

Cheers.

I believe that's for a flare (not fire extinguisher) as required by law in Japan.

Actually, now come to think of it...I think you correct. Then some people place fire extinguishers there but originally yes it was a small black flare.

People don’t put fire extinguishers there because it will be hard to reach while in the drivers seat, usually it’s on the right hand side of the passenger foot well or under the drivers/passengers seat. Also the flares are red.

Right, you are (photo of flare on same spot).

Since you are not using the stock boost controller you must have an alternative. The simplest would be an R32 actuator. Trace back from your actuator to see where the line goes and you will find an aftermarket controller if fitted.

I followed the wires from the actuator they lead inside the dash through the firewall and cant follow from there, this sunday im going to take the dash apart and find it, has anyone got a guide to do it? If it was a car i normally work on i could take it apart in less then 5 mins lol, im guess for this it will take a few hours to pull apart and put back

That's a factory boost solenoid with factory wires that will lead back to the factory ecu. Hardly worth chasing, certainly don't pull your dash apart to solve this non mystery.

So dont bother using it then?

Well, that depends on what other boost control you have.

Also, there is an obvious misunderstanding as to what terms is being used here.  The item in the photo is the boost control solenoid, as others have said.  The "actuator" referred to by Kiwi is not that solenoid.  He meant the actuator that is mounted on the turbo that pneumatically pushes on the wastegate lever.  Not the same thing at all....although, obviously, related.  All part of the boost control.  Anyway, there are no wires on the actuator.  There wires on the solenoid are as Ben said.  You should follow all advice given.

From what i can see inside the car there is no other boost controller, also what causes a door window to tilt towords the inside of the car? Photos attached, the purple line on the window is the window hitting something on its way up so i dont use it but previous owner did, the first photo is what a owner had done to bypass the solenoid

Unless that's an RB20 actuator (and I can't be stuffed searching the part number to check).....then you have a whole 5 psi and your car should be as slow as all f**k.

The window is easy.  The stuff inside the door that keeps the window aligned (so, either the runner channels/rollers or the felt pads near the top) are stuffed.

    • A 1.5 way is a 2 way. It is just a 2 way with a less aggressive ramp on overrun.
    • The ABS and/or TCS being missing/broken will not cause the engine to misbehave. It just casues CEL to come on and annoy you. The CEL is useless if it is always on, so you have to do the things you have to do to get rid of it, so it can be useful. Being a Stag ECU, then yes, it will not expect TCS to be present. But it will expect ABS to be present and working. You will need to either make the ABS CU talk to the ECU (don't ask me what that will take on an NA R34), and make sure the hardware is working....or, you just need to blank it out in Nistune. Do not persist with the stock ECU. You will just have problems. Gte it Nistuned. Start from there. DO YOU HAVE A BOOST SENSOR? The ECU's boost sensor that it. It is connected to the loom at the rear of the coil cover. Usually rides on the firewall on an R34, but is usually bolted down to a bracket along with all the other crap at the back of the coil cover when a Neo is dropped into another car. If you do not have it, the ECU will shit the bed. So, do you have one?
    • So sadly the fuel pump etc was not it. The pump and filter is new and it is still cutting around 4000 rpm. A read something about ABS/TCS (engine is from stagea and ECU too so no TCS) and i dont know for 100% that my car has ABS. It has ABS "cube" in engine bay but i dont think it works(or at least from my braking experience). Can be something like that?  I will be driving the car next week to Nistune tuner to properly see what is wrong...
    • the Tomei LSD fluid with lsd kit. frustrated that it was shaking the car to crap and affecting everything else negatively, I pulled the diff last night, and removed the lsd carrier, could not find anything wrong, however it seem to be 100 locked up acceleration, and deacceleration, wondering if they sent me a 2 way not a 1.5??  either way I installed the stock open carrier back in place. test drove everything smooth as butter again. no shake, shutter, random, what felt like clutch slip and grab or drive shaft play, etc. something differently wrong in side the lsd. I might bother taking it apart (if possible) to figure out what's going on inside this carrier, as bought too long ago to return.  only draw back is its back to a one wheel wonder.
