Hello all I'm from south Florida. I just purchased a black 93 skyline gtst. It is currently being delivered from Washington state. I bought it from Rhdspecialties. This is my first turbo car purchase and can't wait to read up on it as much as possible to maintain her. 49000 kilometers, she is still a virgin. Here are some pics being loaded onto a flat bead. I don't have plans to track or drift her because I don't know much about that stuff. Only upgrades from time to time based on the info that is being shared on this forum. I can't wait to get my hands on her!

Looks really nice ,wheels look great.

It'll be a hoot to drive!

:welcome:

Thank you. My question is do you guys think I should take her to a Nissan mechanic or a tuner mechanic to look her over? or will just any mechanic do? I thought a Nissan mechanic because they "should" know more about the car than any other? Or would a shop that specializes in tuner cars do a better job? Thanks for yall opinion.

She's old enough now that most mechanics could look it over. I'd take it to a more experienced tuner if you are getting any mods done as they'd have a better idea of doing a proper job and getting the most out of it.

nice looking car but id take those kms with a pinch of salt so to speak. My skyline had 50,000 kms taken off between japan and australia.

Welcome aboard !

Yep got to tentatively agree with CeJay !

I got mine in from Japan and it had 49,000 kms on the clock !

In saying that its now got 427,000 kms on it now ( its my daily driving car ) still on the same motor.

Just goes to show, if maintained regularly, how well they are engineered.

You'll love it

    • Started sifting thru my brakes to decide which ones I will run on Clem   Made me think I should just put them all on Silver...for when brake fade just isn't an option   Should be able to bump rotor up from 343x32 to 348x36 off Supra. Not sure if the Supra annulus is right for the Alcons or APs but trying g to find a used Supra\M4 rotor to test fit The Alcons seem to gain 1-2mm clearance which all helps
    • So car is getting a few mods to the cage and some jacking points welded in Meantime Ol Silver gets a new gearbox and shiny clutch.  Old Box is being set aside for Clem
    • Probably speedometer itself if the odometer is ticking. If the needle is stuck from a bit of grease or something that can cause it to stay at 0. Or a cracked solder joint in the speedometer can do it too.
    • Thanks Fella’s   to take this off topic and to elaborate a bit more. I have an rb25/30 going into a r32 GTST.. expected to make around 600-700hp. Would you?   A) R34 GTT box   B) CD00#?  I’ve seen a few posts about the CD swap and sounds fairly involved with making it fit etc but if it’s worth the work then I’ll go that way
