Must've been the day for white C34s.

Seen a white C34 260 I think (had personalised NSW plates) at the Caltex at Canberra Airport yesterday (Wednesday) morning.

For almost 3 weeks on my way to work each morning (including yesterday) I have seen a white C34 S2 with black front bar and rear left space saver tyre on at Inline Steering Yass Rd Queanbeyan. Must be some major work getting done.

Also seen a maroon C34 S1 in the Queanbeyan hospital carpark regularly. Looks very neat all de-badged.

A bit late, but I also saw a silver M35 Axis and a grey C34 S2 RSFour in the Summernats carpark on Saturday 7 January this year.

I reckon I've seen more Stageas in the last month than I have in the entire previous year in the Canberra region.

Certainly didn't see me last weekend, though :nyaanyaa:

I didn't see any Stageas during my stay but a few skylines.

I'll be there again this weekend, Friday thru Monday.

Spotted red C34 on Lachlan Valley way just out of Boorowa around 1:50pm.An older gentlemen driving with an older female passenger. RED ??? numbers plates. Waved but no acknowledgement...though I was stopped waiting for the on coming traffic, in which he was proceeding, through a road works so may have been concentrating on the road instead.

Spotted Rosella as he flashed by, tooting, lucky I looked before flipping the bird...

Good to have a chat mate, catch you soon.

Yeah, in future, look before ya open door, mate!!!!!

:P

BTW, which event are you going to on 12th???

Eh? I was getting in my car long before you arrived...:nyaanyaa:

Looks like maybe neither; I may have to work.pinch.gif

We'll have to see.

Stagea's in the mist!

Yesterday morning, Thursday, driving my daughter to school in Blackheath in my wife's Honda CRV, Rosella appeared out of the mist on the Great Western Hwy coming over the crest of the hill down past Sutton Park, flashed headlights at him but I wasn't in my car so I don't think he recognised me (Hi Russell from the white CRV).

Thursday afternoon, in my car, turned from Waratah St left into Katoomba St in Katoomba and there on my left was a chap standing next to a silver S1 DAYZ edition C34 with black mags and a cannon poking out the back, parked opposite Aldi. I tooted and waved and it looked like it took him a moment or two to realise what tooted him, my silver C34 S2 which he acknowledged.

My daughter, aged 9, prefers going to school in Daddy's rocket (as she calls it) rather than Mummy's Honda.

Craig, did see ya but thought you were flashing about highway patrol cars. Belated :action-smiley-069:

Silver R34 fronted C34 (skygea ?) looking awesome along M1 / Slacks Ck area. Hand gestures exchanged :) Not sure if S1 or S2 ?!

Very nice looking ride - a teensy bit jealous right now hahahahaha oh well :D

    • These coils draw 10amps that what i read online
    • I appreciate the detailed explanation, think I understand now. I spent the better part of last night reading what I could about shuffle and potential solutions. I had replaced the OEM twin turbo pipe with an alternate Y pipe that is separated further away from the turbo. The current one is from HKS and I had a previous pipe that was separated even further away, both have shuffle. I had heard that a divider can be welded in to the OEM pipe to remove turbulence, and figure that aftermarket pipes that are more separated would achieve the same thing. From what I read, most people with -10 turbos get shuffle due to their size, though it's a bit less common with -5s on a standard RB26. I think Nismoid mentioned somewhere it's because OEM recirculation piping is common in Australia with -5 cars. It seems that the recommendation tends to vary between a few options, which I've ordered in what I think is most feasible for me:  1. Retune the MAP or boost controller to try to eliminate shuffle 2. Install OEM recirculation piping 3. Something called a 'balance pipe' welded onto the exhaust manifolds. I don't know if kits for this are available, seems like pure fabrication work 4. simply go single turbo My current layout is as follows: Garrett 2860 -5s HKS Racing Suction intake MAF delete pipes HKS racing chamber intake piping hard intercooler piping,  ARC intercooler HKS SSQV BOV and pipe Haltech 2500 elite ECU and boost solenoid/controller HPI dump pipes OEM exhaust manifolds HKS VCAM step 1 and supporting head modifications Built 2.6 bottom end All OEM recirculation piping was removed, relevant areas sealed off I'll keep an eye out for any alternative solutions but can get started with this.  Only other question is, does shuffle harm the turbo (or anything else)? It seems like some people say your turbo shafts will explode because of the opposing forces after a while and others say they just live with it and adjust their pedal foot accordingly.
    • That worked out PERFECTLY! Thank you big time to JJ. He was able to swap me his stock diff. He drove all the way to me as well. Killer! Removal & install was pretty straightforward. The diff itself is HEAVY. So that’s a 2 man job.  Man does the car drive nice now! Couldn’t have worked out any better 👌
    • I'm interested,do you still have it?
