Right, click on this link Fuji Corporation and they've got Work Emotion CR Cai 18x9.5 with tires front and rear for R32 GT-R for 140,000 yen... Fuji Corporation have some pretty good deals on new wheels and tires.

Otherwise, if you really like my wheels (Desmond Regamaster) you could go for these:

158,000 yen with 265/35/18 tires at www.hokuei-inc.co.jp

Are these the same? :

LM's are made by Rays under commission from Nismo

I reckon they're a 5-spoke of the TE37's

They also have a different pattern around the studs (many holes, rather than either 4 or 5 on the TE-37).

LW.

It's actually the overall rolling diameter that needs to be the same front-back to keep ATTESSA happy.

Just thought I would emphasize this as I see so often people saying AWD needs same width rims.

The torque split controller works on the rolling dia. and even pulls in if one of your tyres is a bit low on pressure.

So on diff size rims just adjust the tyre aspect ratio and rolling dia. to suit!

IMHO rim apearance and desirability is totally subjective.

A big issue to me is how easy they are to keep clean!

Here's my car with BBS LM's in 17x9. I dream of 18inch wheels though for my car. Either WORK Meister S1's, R34 GT-R wheels or Nismo LMGT4's and I'd still settle for TE37's.

I might have to sell these rims as I just bought some Brembos for the front and it doesn't look like there's enough clearance for them :D So, great excuse to upgrade wheels I suppose!!! I'll need about $5k though to get what I really want! OUCH!!!

Hey thanks people.

Right now, I'm looking at this :

in black like this :

And I want 18".

I know the size has to be the same for all on a GTR, just wondering if they could also fit on a 300zx as well?

thanks again.

That's actually dark blue you linked. 18" TE37s in black/dark grey looks like this:

I should know: those are my wheels in that picture. Hopefully they will show up some day (currently still in Japan).

justinfox: yeah, they look great, you just need the hubble telescope to see them from Australia :) Hoping I can get them here (without being pinched by some arsehole in the next month).

Its apparently a special order colour that Ray's offers (another one is Mercury Silver, but those a *freakin* expensive to get, even by TE-37 standards).

Yeah, they will be going on my (Gunmental) R32 GT-R. They are 18x9.5 (which apparently fits without rolling), and I think the offset is +35 off the top of my head but I can check if you like?

Should look a little something like this (though the wheels are a bit darker IMHO):

They look awesome.

Lucien, I thought GTR offset was closer to +12 or +15, with a +35 for GTSts? eg. if you bolt on a R34GTR wheel to a GTSt they stick out too far?

Also, what are they costing you to send from Japan?

Cheers

Ronin: Your right. They are +12. Its been so long since I bought them I had forgotten :D

Edit: To cut a long story short, I payed to have them afixed to my GT-R, but the place didn't do that, so car is here (with original GT-R wheels on :) ) and wheels are still in Japan. Hoping to get them brought across in another vehicle, but waiting for the place to get their act together.

LW.

IWells,

Those rims look great!

My car is exactly the same as yours, I have the SSR mags at the moment, but will definitely go the RAY route.

I'm a bit confused with some of the RAY wheels, I believe the spokes on the TE37 is flat, but another version has them slanted inward. Which is which?

BTW, Hope you get your wheels soon and safely.

Informer: The original (and still the best IMHO) TE-37 has the slanted spokes. There are a couple of other versions: the flat spoked version is the TE-37M; there is a TE-37 gravel that is also quite flat; TE-37 Cup which has inverse slant, and TE-37 K which is sort of a dished version of the 37M.

    • Put a fuel pressure gauge on it. Replace the turbos. Probably completely separate issues.
    • What copper washer do you guys use on the bleeder bolts? The existing one I have I had no idea where to find it in a local store, I did buy some online but that are only 1mm thick whereas my old one is 2mm+ thick and when I put the new washer out and squeeze the top radiator hose I can hear a bit of air but not with the old one. Does this matter? The new one doesn't leak, but the inner diameter is a bit loose whereas the old one threads on the bolt.
    • Howdy all, after being out a few weeks ago on a spirited drive in my GTR I have 2 issues that oddly have appeared at the same time. Whilst accelerating quickly through the gears all of a sudden i’ve lost power at the top of third gear (below redline around 6000rpm) for no obvious reason.    From that point onwards the car has been running rich on idle, won’t really rev under load without a ton of black smoke and the odd backfire, and dying as a pull up to a set of lights unless I keep the revs up around 1500rpm. In addition when shutting down the car that same night (I was 10 minutes from home) I noticed one of the turbos was significantly noisy on wind down when shutting off the engine. After letting the car cool down overnight it starts up fine, although once it gets to temp the revs start to creep up and down, the exhaust is darker than it should be and it also sounds like it’s running rich (fat note) I’ve put a new set of plugs in it - no change, the old plugs all seemed OK with two of them being somewhat richer/fueled up than the other 3 with 1 being borderline. I’ve smoked tested the intake system via the front of the Turbos, found a split vacuum hose going to the factory boost gauge sender, which I have since replaced.  Also found another leak on the gasket coming off the rear turbo outlet, have also replaced this. After fixing both of these leaks - still have the running rich issue. I’ve also tried another pair of AFM’s - no change here After pulling off the front turbo intake pipes, there is obvious shaft play in the front turbo, which now hisses loudly on light revvs although I can’t see why this would make the car run funny even under idle. I’m curious to know why it’s running rich before I potentially replace/rebuild turbos. The car is completely stock <50,000kms  other than an exhaust. Oil and coolant are all clear. I haven’t bothered with coil packs as it looks like they won’t be the issue due to condition of the plugs. Any help appreciated as I cry myself to sleep!
    • No probs at all. I used to love trying to dig up obscure info for those in need where possible going back 20+ years on SAU.  I did have another look and couldn't come up with any closer match. I'm leaning towards those skirts in your first pic are custom fitments, cut down/extended or from another car entirely and modded to fit an R34 sedan. I would've thought someone in Japan had them and taken a photo at some stage over the last 2 decades but there's nothing. Someone out there must know surely.
