topi
So for the next 4 days I worked at the machine shop. Polishing, grinding, cleaning and stuff. I didnt take any photos of inside the machine shop, because it was just that.... aload of machines, in a shop. Not as fun as Auto Mechanic, but still a good learning experience, and will look good on my CV hehe. Time to leave Japan, and one last pic. The place was great, the work was great, the people were great and the food was...... the place was great. I WILL be going back. For a longer time deffinately. topi
NICE write up . Did they have many cars like the old GTO and 240z? I asked them if they get much of that stuff, and they said retro cars still come in quite alot. Beer Baron
Good work mate. Well done, sounds like you had a great time that you'll remember for many years to come. That Supra ride is not something many people have experienced, lucky fellow. Parag0n
Great photos mate, I bet you had a ball. Did you end up getting that present for the JUN dude? if so what was it and did he like it? topi
Oh yeah the presents! Fot The man of the house, some brushed alu Union Jack cufflinks, for the lady, an English silver rose with amber flower thingy broach. And I didnt have anything shiney for his son, so I bought a Norton motorcycles zippo with a Union Jack in the background from a department store. And I got a few token things - cup, books, calender, olde english style tin of caremels and mint cake. Seemed to go down fairly well with them anyway Thanks for the comments guys, it was the most awesome thing I could imagine. topi
Thanks for the writeup Its very funny to see a Brit complaing about food considering what they call food in the motherland LW. Haha, Brit food is pretty pethetic. But fish (cooked fish) and chips is so simple, theres not much you can complain about. And the bacon is by far the best bacon you can get :aroused: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/54693-photo-diary-jun-experience/page/2/#findComment-1070688 Share on other sites

topi
Erm, sometimes a demonstration was needed yeah.
