Seriously?

Prank, I think you're gonna have to get some drum brakes off a Datto 1200/120Y (thank God for Nissan parts interchangability, hey?) at each corner to fit those wheels on!!!

At least that way, you could get some 12" rims off that same 1200/120Y to substitute if you get a flat - they look about the same size...

Wow, not too popular!

And here I was just being blown away by the retro/drift/oldskool/rebel/serious function of those wheels . .

Gotta say I like the look, old school wheels on a newer car. Can't tell you what they're called though.

But I know some guys who might, hang on.

J

ok guys... thanks! (i think)

apparently they sell for about $650 a rim (without rubber), so **** that!

I was only going to get them as a track wheel... not for everyday street use, i still think they look pretty cool but not as cool as a phat set of 18s or so..

Hey Prank,

I picked up a set of Volk Racing 17s, WITH used Formula-Rs on them for $2,000 from Powerplay.

Check some of the importers, heaps of them change the rims that were on the car when they arrive for something larger/more interesting. Also, smaller 17 or even 16s will be cheaper to buy exotic rubber so that you stick better.

No point getting great looking rims for track days, they just get scratched when your wife thrashes them into the kitty litter:uh-huh:

    • Cats are called Bella, and Donna...  Like that poisonous plant And I remember your 2 monsters, I remember making a little bit of wee when you let them out... LOL I have already installed cat doors into the laundry where their kitty litter is, and the sun room, apart from the cat doors there's not going to be any permanent mounted stuff on the interior walls (interior doors are cheap and easy to replace) I will get a outdoor cat cage thingie once I finish the landscaping out back... https://catnip.com.au/ The only off limit areas are the main bedroom and the gym room....but, currently the cats are curled up in bed, in the main bedroom with the Mrs.....LOL, the off limits for the kittens to the main bedroom lasted about 5 minutes with Jackie I currently only have 1 free standing huge cat tree multiple level scratching post thingie in the lounge room, but, I will be getting another one soon now that I'm happy with the furniture layout in the back room and have a perfect spot for it
    • All of this is making it seem clear that running the Coppermix twin was definitely the way to go, especially in hindsight with how insane tariffs have gotten and the strength of the USD vs yen at the time.
    • That sounds like no chance of even importing one for road registering then Now I see why Duncan wants to check LHD rules for Targa...   I wonder how "bolt in" the AWD would be if you got one imported from the US and swapped it to an AUD one
    • Not to mention they drive like a bucket of bolts! yuck!
