dont you guys want some variety? If you put only lines in it, potential members without lines wont wanna join

I say add the stealth S15 to the list :)

besides, greg said he would like to include it

yeah right lol

to an SKYLINES australia calendar hahaha u nob :)

OK guys...

Have to get out there and take a few photos so I'm making myself available for Sunday 26th from 6pm? Anyone in the list able to make this time? Shan? We need to get moving on this if we want the calendar for most of '05

-Greg.

I can make it. Just let me know where

If you find some nice wide road I'll have a go getting some smoking drift if your interested?

Can't really drift but I'll give it a go. My car loves to be thrashed. BTW its the grey r32 with the white nismo back rims. You should take some photos at the calder night of all the cars if its in jan.

hi guys I'll be on hols in Sydney till Jan 05 (hopefully meetin up with the SAU boys n girls here before I leave).

Greg can I leave it in your safe hands till then? Also if Robin or someone else wants to step up a lil and take on the coordinating side of things til I come back?

For now it'll just be prelim chasing up and getting confirmations of free times from both Greg and those interested. As I said at the meet to some of you, we can't shoot all the cars at the same place or time, so we need you guys to come up with good suggestions.

I'll take a committee poll and see if we'll be including non members or not. Based on that we'll include non members. If we decide members only and can't fill up all the spots with member cars then we'll use non member cars to fill em up.

Also Al, we have a wide variety of cars int he list, not just GTRs, so that should answer your question.

I might head over to twilight drift with one of you guys and Greg when I get back to take some happy snaps of a skyline drifting, and get the boys from fullock involved too.

As for Troy and skylinegeoff's cars, I reckon they look TOUGH AS with the fire scorched bonnet and the huge aluminium fireplate of the rear bumper respectively. A shot of those two cars in their raw glory on a track with team wang would be awesome.

Just so you know I am in Canada until the 12th. Also - my car currently lacks a gearbox, drive shafts, front paipe, and far too many nuts and bolts. I have no idea when it will be back in once piece. Otherwise I'd have been happy for James or someone to go get it.

However, Greg already has some pretty darn good shots of my car from the day we did with me and noof.

Also - James has some decent super high res piccies from the Dutton that might look cool too.

    • Ahhh, I need the whole head unit. I definitely needed to roll back through and review your setup, ha ha! Neat setup they have going on. I just need a full double din head unit. But I want good and responsive. I might have to review what the likes of pioneer have out these days.
    • Ok so after much research and talking with knowledgeable people I've got my turbo conversion done and it's all running great other than 1 small issue.  Car has remained auto with the na auto and tcm, I've used a stagea ecu with. NIstune board and everything is great other than my gear selection on the dash. It illuminates park, reverse, neutral, 3rd and 2nd. But nothing drive or what gear your in when you pop it into tiptronic.  I'm sure there is may e 1 wire in the ecu plug I need to move to rectify this. Dose anyone here have any ideas?   Cheers guys
    • Sorry I haven't been following all the detail, so you may have tried this. Does it idle with the tiniest bit of throttle you can add? You've mentioned the IACV, does it have an AAC valve and have you adjusted it at all (ie, screw the idle adjust screw all the way in, then back it out a couple of turns until idle is stable)?
    • My bad, I unplugged the one underlined in red instead of yellow before. With the car started, after unplugging the IACV (the one underlined in yellow), it idled at around 400/500 for 3 seconds before stalling. Attempting to start the car without the IACV will not start the car.   It does stutter and sputter for around 5 seconds before dying. However, immediately after starting it, you can already hear some slight sputters from the exhaust.   It won't start with the AFM unplugged. If it is when the car has already started, it stalls in a few seconds.   Yesterday, I did take some logs using Nistune of 3 scenarios. Car idling till it stalls Car idling and unplugging the IACV Car idling and removing the AFM I also have some previous logs of when the Car is idling till it stalls and when driving and it cuts. I am not really knowledgeable enough to understand what to look for. After every test, car idles rougher and rougher, until I have to stop. It will be fine the day after.
    • There is no difference between a 17x8 and an 18x8. The total diameter of the tyre needs to remain +/- the same (so you don't mess up the gearing, speedo reading, and clearance when turning front wheels..... so you just need to use a lower profile tyre on th 18 than you do on the 17. /rocket surgery.
