What's this gonna be like...

18x9.5 +22r

18x9.5 +30f

Tires are 225/40

On an r34 gtt

My calculator estimates the fronts will be out another 35mm and the rears 43mm

The car is lowered so a small amount of natural camber Bo no camber arms.

Seems Ok but what do the experts think?

Of course you are going to need to roll the rear lip and push the front guards back a bit but otherwise all good.

will be pretty good but for the love of god put some wider tyres on it.

9.5 inch rims take a 265. Get at least a 255 on there.

Hey guys,

I've had a read through this thread and found a few guys running close to what I want in regards to rim sizes but I'm not entirely sure on what tyres would fit

I've got a 98 R34 GTT

Rim size at the moment are 18", not sure what offset (they came with the car when I bought it)

For tyres I'm running 235/40/18 (Blue Streak) on the fronts and 245/40/18 (Eagle F1) on the rears

I've got my eyes on a set of TE37SL Black Edition

From what I've read up on I'm looking at going 18x9.5+22 at the fronts and 18x10+30 at the rears

Would I be able to run this rim and tyre size combo?

At the moment the guards are not rolled but I do have adjustable coilovers and camber kit (currently set at 1.5 neg on front and 2.5 neg at rears)

Thanks in advance

Perfect.

Absolutely perfect.

Just remember to roll your guards, then enjoy wonderful offset - I had the same and it was immaculate. Front at 0, rears are around 1.5 and it was 5mm poke both sides.

tried searching, but didnt get a definite answer.

Will 25mm gktech spacers cover the stock wheel studs? or do I need to go 30mm? ie so factory studs wont protrude from the spacer.

my cars a 32 gtst btw

Hey guys

I own a 4 door gtst and am looking to fit Work Meister S1's

Rears 18x10 245/40/18 +20 offset

Fronts 18x9.5 225/35/18 +15 offset

I dont want to have to do to many modifcations, preferably just a good roll.

If it helps I'm running BC coilovers.

WILL THEY FIITT?? :woot:

within reason anything can 'fit', in that very liberal interpretation alot of people seem to be getting into these days.

In this case, well, not really if you are talking about an r32 and only rolling.

Otherwise it will also be a mexican stretched abortion...

It will also eat tyres and attract the 50 like a *insert witty comment here*

Actually these will fit with a little camber in the front tho on the back run a 235\40 and will be not much drama at all. You will need roll the inner lip tho all round

Will these fit...

Car: R33 Coupe

Wheel: Rota Grid

Front: 17x9 +25

Rear: 17x9 +25

(Can stretch tyres if within reason, just want to know how they'll sit)

*Read about 15 pages and couldn't find what I was looking for*

It'll sit 5mm further out compared to this:

Tyres, don't know, 235 wide would probably be okay.

    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
