I just had a look at the dyno sheet - Looks like 18PSI tapering down to 16PSI which seems to hold 18PSI consistently since changing the actuator.

Mine was tuned at about 289KW on BP 98 by JEM - Same turbo, Same cooler, 3" JJR exhaust with an unknown dump and unknown highflow cat, Splitfires with the stock airbox and snorkel. Interesting to see the differences between them. I'll also be changing my cooler in the near future and going to a venom cat as recommended by V28VX37. Similar to you my IWG actuator was opening at 10PSI which I changed after getting it tuned. The tuner mentioned that he had to have my AVCR settings cranked right up to get it to hold boost, since changing it to a Turbosmart variant I have the settings at 1/3 what it used to be. Inbox me if you want more details

Yep, Still AVCR but hoping to get the boost mapped by the ECU soon. What controller are you running in the GTR??? ----------- Update 26/01/2017 I recently purchased a bunch of parts from eBay, Kudos and JustJap to replace the failing suspension arms and joints in my car. They all recently arrived- Hicas elimination, Front Caster arms, Rear camber arms, Genuine tie rod ends, oil filters, sump plug etc Today I installed the caster arms and the tie rod ends - I've included some pics below, you can see how bad the tie rod ends were from a mile away, not only that but I could feel them under hard turning - They were also completely spent of grease and loose inside their joint The Hicas elimination will go in over the next few days as well as the camber arms then new tires and a decent alignment -
I've been looking into it also - Their website says it's under construction and you can purchase from their eBay if you want to order something.

rb25det plazmaman V std intake Results

Yeah that's a good point - pulling the stupid J pipe off every time you want to get to the coils or plugs also slows the process down.- 13 replies

rb25det plazmaman V std intake Results

This is awesome! Can't justify the extra costs of getting a Plazmaman intake if there isn't that much difference. I can see the only real benefit is if you wanted a cleaner FMIC install.- 13 replies

Thanks Duncan, I haven't actually had the issue happen again at all lately. I've intentionally tried to make it do it but it's not doing it (old key or my spare). I also pulled apart the steering assembly to check how to remove it all and I've worked it out just in case I need to. For now I'll leave it until it causes me further grief. Thank you for your help - If you don't mind could you please delete the post now if possible? I think this sort of sensitive info shouldn't be kept anywhere

Thanks guys, I couldn't get it to do it no matter how hard i tried today. I went for a drive for a few hours - The only difference is that i used my spare key and not the "Nissan" one. The Nissan one looks so rounded and worn - I only just realized. Could this also be the issue? I found a couple of locksmiths also that I will call tomorrow. Looking at the barrel assembly it seriously looks painful to remove. I wanted to remove and replace it myself but looking at it I'm not sure if I want to bother.

Thanks Duncan, Can you recommend any good car locksmiths in Sydney?

R33 Ignition Switch Issues Hi All, I had a weird issue appear tonight while I was driving - All of a sudden the accessory power cut out, no radio, windscreen wipers, mirrors etc. Turn the car off and back on and it would be fine. We worked out that if you turn the key a fraction then all accessory power would turn back on. Turn it one direction a fraction and everything would cut out again. My first thought was that there is an issue with the ignition barrel but I thought I would ask on here first. Has anyone had a similar problem before? I've seen cases where the car would turn off completely but not the accessory power only. If the issue is the ignition barrel what would my options be? Change ALL locks out for new ones including the ignition barrel, doors and boot - if so is it very hard to do? Change the barrel and get it keyed for my current one (if that's even possible???) Thanks in advance!
