  1. Hey mate Will take "twin turbo" pipe if you'll post to Melb? cheers
  2. on this, I am currently running 8kg/mm and 6kg/mm on these Ohlins below. They rear end is a bit stiff for the road, should I swap rears only to something like 4kg/mm or 5kg/mm, and leave the fronts the same, or change the fronts as well? Eibach do a 4.4kg/mm model 0800.250.0250
  3. who is / are these villelas?
  4. thanks for the reply fellas simpletool, I don't know about bow out or if I need it; I'm currently running Swifts on my remote reservoir Ohlins djr81, I'm looking for a pair of 65mm ID, 8" (203mm?), in 5kg/mm happy to go eibach if you have some in that size? They're for the back of a r32 GTR so I assume I could go slightly longer if necessary as the spring adjustment is a reasonable range.
  5. I'm looking for some lighter rear springs for my GTR32. These are a 'home brand' spring, and for 40 bucks a pair, it seems pretty reasonable. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/370668179346?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Question is, are these really any worse (or are Swift really any better) than Swift springs at $160-180 for a pair? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170818582040?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 or are there locals (e.g. King Springs)? cheers
  6. Thanks Plattsy they're 18x10 but over 5kg/wheel I should note that it's a private seller not a business (e.g. tire rack) that has freight partners. cheers
  7. Hey guys I have a set of rims that I'd like shipped from the West Coast of the US to Melbourne, Australia. Have a quote for around $700 with USPS, but that seems a bit high. anyone have any other suggestions? Happy to examine sea freight as it's not urgent. cheers
  8. I do like how now the international standard measurement tool is "how many iphones".
  9. When you say "tarnish the original..." the fact that you are unbolting the whole front end panels etc and replacing them could be considered as "tarnishing" it. I love the Z-Tune front end, so in no way does this mean I am criticising you, but the fact that you are modifying the car (yes it's reversible but anyone who knows cars will see the non-factory bolt work on the front guards) with differernt body work will mean it's "tarnished". In fact, if it's not matched (e.g. blended) it would be more obviously "tarnished" because the front panels don't match the doors etc. If you really want to put the original front bar back on, get that resprayed at the same time as the new kit.
  10. There is zero way you will get "camber in" of anywhere near an inch on suspension squat.
  11. yep covercraft. I have one for R32GTR
  12. yeah bummer - that's really weird that only one of the front pair is like this. don't know how you'd go with getting a single; you might need to get a pair and keep the other one for parts if necessary. plus if you are going to repaint then you don't need something that looks great - maybe you can save some coin there.
  13. not a good result. i suggest that alarm bells should have been ringing when the bleed nipples, pistons and piston seals were all covered in that shit red paint. bin. Edit: did they come on the car or did you buy them. There's a fair amount of meat removed - i personally wouldn't be confident continuing to use these calipers.
  14. gotta be a photochop. looks like saggy arse cheeks.
  15. Aus distys and retailers gouging. GST blamed. What's new
  16. Hey Roy you know better than I do; what's on the back of my bus? Are they 322mm? Running r33 Brembo rear.
  17. I've got PS2s on my R32GTR in a 255 though. Have been very happy with them - quiet and ok even at the track. Fall over a bit on the blocks at the track but it's a road tyre so what do you want? They held up well though and didn't chunk or anything. Seems to have pretty good dry and wet grip. HTH
  18. GTR 500 is back for sale? http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-1991-12711221?base=1216&vertical=Car&Range=Price:Min,Max~0.5&Page=2&eapi=2&sort=Price&cr=28&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294963593%201216&silo=Stock&find=gtr|CarAll
  19. Have a hail damaged R32GTR black bonnet for sale. It has holes on the front edge for the Nismo lip, but does not come with the lip. It isn't that bad and probably could be repaired, but I got a new one under insurance. The only pic I have is the one attached. It is at the panel shop, awaiting pick up. PICK UP ONLY. Happy to take a payment via direct deposit and you can pick up at your convenience. Perfect for a track beater or repaired/cleaned up for a GTST. $300. PM me.
