  1. Use a xtreme 230mm organic twin plate, will drive better then both clutches you’ve mentioned and will handle more power then the -5s can ever make
  2. I must be so used to the sound of a multiplate clutch that I think it’s normal and don’t even notice it anymore
  3. Computer can do it better then any foot ever will
  4. Not sure, I haven’t looked into with the haltech. The motec can definitely use both so that it’s measuring vehicle speed versus wheel speed
  5. Why are you still driving with those coil when you know they are faulty?
  6. I also think a lot of these of the huge horsepower roll racing cars are using it and probably most of the drag cars as well
  7. I think with most all wheels drive cars you use both the wheels speeds and the gps, I agree the gps will end up useless in some situations and would be interesting to see how the system would react at those times
  8. It’s pretty well known Hyundai and Kia are the same company
  9. The mrs has the Kona N and it’s been great, I’m looking at the i30N with the manual and just not sure as the last manual Hyundai I drove was an excel and felt terrible
  10. @evil_weevil how’s the i30 going? Thinking about buying one myself as it seems like the most sensible of the cars I was considering
  11. The only other things I’d want would be more DPI/SPI to measure the 4 wheel speeds and do traction control. not sure my car will make enough power for it to be a real issue though
  12. I looked at it and worked out I’d either need to buy a nexus plus a pdm due to the the fact the nexus uses 3 of the 25amp out puts or just the pdm if I kept the elite in there
  13. Ok so the reason I decided to cancel all Japan day is I was finishing off the last of the wiring and started to look at having to do the relays and fuses for the fuel pumps, thermo fans, trigger for the power steering pump and etc. after looking at the number of wires that were going into the car, I took a step back and thought nah f**k this there’s a better and much neater way to do this!! insert pd16 (pdm) here and the problem is solved only issue is I now need to strip the wiring harness, remove the i/o 12 box from it and fit the pd16 instead I got very lucky and it just happened they came into stock the day after I ordered it, now while this is a set back and will mean having to redo some work, it’ll end up being better for it
  14. It’s already starting to become unreliable it doesn’t need Nissan added to it to make it worse
  15. And the snowball starts rolling lol
  16. There’s no such thing, it’s a marketing ploy to try and sell more pistons to suckers
  17. Maybe when buying new the price difference wasn’t that much and buying the gtr just made more sense
