  1. It’s the hypertune 100mm bolt on cooler with the 680mm wide core, the idea is once you put the front bar on all you see is core and not end tanks
  2. Leave the factory 9:1 compression, this isn’t the 80s anymore! Everyone is raising compression now not lowering it
  3. Ordered a new intercooler and when it arrived it turn out the order had been messed up with the intercooler having Wiggins on it instead of hose ends, decided to just live with it and use it as a forced upgrade. We then towed the car to my mates workshop for the fab work to make everything thing work first welded a 90 onto the compressor housing and fitted the intercooler to the car new intercooler pipes are now built got it home and made the reinforcement fit, that took a lot of time and cutting and if I could go back I wouldn’t have chosen the wide core just due to the amount of cutting required. I also lost the return pipe for the blow off valves because it didn’t fit anymore either
  4. They don’t create understeer, they fix it. They also greatly reduce the torque steer in big power cars. I’ve got one in my car and you’d never know until you boot it and the thing goes dead straight, also second best mod is rebuild the transfer with 10 plates
  5. I’ve entered and have a garage, just need to see if the car will be running
  6. Hopefully but not going to count my chickens before they hatch, it’s now week 8 of waiting for a radiator
  7. Then I figure I’m pretty much done in the bay so I may as well throw the guards on and then the bonnet also grabbed some new rubbers, new prop rod holder and prop rod Really starting to look like a car again
  8. Turbine housing finally came back so on went the turbo and of corse the exhaust bolted straight back up and oil feed and return were also perfect then the compressor housing
  9. the old bottles looked old and haggard and decided to buy a fresh set window one is in and you can also see the emap sensor sitting in its home
  10. Decided I’d change all the door hinges while the guards were off and they’re easy to get to. seeing as they come raw I painted them all black and then put them on, the old ones were held on with seam sealer and it took the paint off while getting them off, I threw some paint over the bare metal to stop any chance of rust
  11. Skip the kids birthday party, they just end up passing on all the germs and making you sick anyway
  12. Probably pay more for an original then the big aftermarket ones these days
  13. It actually does, I think the only thing that will decide if I make the deadline is getting the radiator
  14. slipped the main harness in and put the wires into their groups (injectors, coils etc) ran the wires where they need to go and cut them to length then fitted the terminals and labeled some of the plugs to prevent mixing them up slipped the harness back to where it all goes, still waiting on a couple of connectors that I forgot to order
  15. At the moment I still don’t have a running car and it’s like 14 weeks away
  16. The rear turbo died and then I fitted the single and the block died instead
  17. Yes we’ve gone through all that, I didn’t expect The twins to die every 6 months
  18. Yes that’s for the exhaust manifold pressure line
