  1. The cable itself had been deleted ages ago and now the mounts are gone as well
  2. I just watched his latest video and he has put the same power steering kit back on the engine, hopefully he has more luck this time
  3. Decided while I had the plenum off I’d change a few things first being getting a Wiggins flange welded on because I’m going to get rid of the silicone hoses and use clamps everywhere second being take all the mounts for the throttle cable off, I’ve now sent the plenum out to get the holes welded and powder coated
  4. I know what it looks like, didn’t realize you paid over a mill for it
  5. There’s a red one that been done over in Europe as well
  6. I have to agree, the fast back just doesn’t look right and the sedan is the ugliest of the lot
  7. Ok after using rtv to replace all the orings, I fitted anything that holds the water in and filled the water and happy to say there’s no leaks. I then pulled the radiator back out and fitted the timing belt and covers again. this is where it’s currently sits oh and the bar is back off 🤦🏼‍♂️
  8. Only cat I’ve got is a hello kitty cushion sitting in the back seat
  9. Pretty sure all gtst had clear and gtr had amber
  10. 100% it’s a very normal approach, it can be bought from Cbc bearings off the shelf. you’re just not supposed to have a gap where the 2 ends meet
  11. No its just a flat oring and the bits that protrude are where it wasn’t touching, also that join runs straight through the actual water gallery and my guess is the water runs straight through it
  12. Yeah that groove is where the join for the side plate is and it’s just an oring that ended up snapped like that because of the groove. yeah I had the shits and just ripped it off despite not having the correct shoes lol
  13. The engine is stripped down and the housing removed this oring is the the culprit (so I thought) and I smeared it with rtv and fit it back on. A few days later I fitted the parts that allowed me to fill the water and out comes the water again 😡turns out by doing what I did I just moved the leak further up the block
  14. A friend had his car painted by kass bodywork’s and the finish is gorgeous
  15. I hadn’t got much of a chance to look at it properly as it was dark when I filled the water. When I finally did it appears to be coming from behind the housing that the water pump and thermostat attach to.
  16. And no I didn’t pressure test it, at least it didn’t come back out as fast as I put it in but still didn’t require any pressure
  17. I wish it it was that easy, being a billet block there’s no Welch plugs in it and pretty much every line under there is gone now and the remaining water hoses are bmrs because of converting it to dbw
  18. the radiator didn’t take to long and arrived pretty close to the estimated time that they gave me
  19. It’s the hypertune one, they give you the option of being in front of or behind the strut tower.
  20. I’m going to have to because I ripped it heap of stuff of the other day and am talking to a fabricator to change a bunch of things I thought in todays market your car would fetch more then that, if not it would Al pay be worth sending it back to Japan and selling it to a collector over there
  21. Definitely loved it, we spent a week in Tokyo this time and still think we could spend another 2 week there just seeing thing we missed. business sounds fun, what type of industry is it in? I’ve basically just been working and building that same stupid car that every time I get close to finishing it I change something and send myself 10 steps backwards lol. Have you still got the dr30?
