R32 Gtr Long Term Love, Now Project

Not sure I’m going to aim quite that high, will be aiming for a number closer to 700 then 600 though -
If the n1 block fixes the deck and external cracking issues then the only thing the brace is doing to stopping the girdle from walking
-
He stated the bores are still the problem in the n1 block, it’s the deck and the cracking above the turbo oil feed that’s been improved, also the brace is to stop the main girdle from walking

Reason is I found a 6870 for a price I couldn’t say no to and grabbed it it’s a h cover front with a 1.00 twin scroll rear on it size comparison compared to the 6466 and placed it on the manifold to see how everything was going to fit, the exhaust bolts straight back on, the intake fits straight back on. I just need to weld a 90 onto the front cover and the intercooler piping will fit straight back up. I’ve sent the turbine housing for ceramic coating, this has the new style rear housing which as @BK pointed out gives a lot more room for the nuts/bolt heads to fit -

I was told as a kid if you play with it to much it’ll fall off, guess they were right -
Well maybe instead of just making up numbers in a 7 minute ad they should try doing a back to back as proof

I got one second hand off eBay and it came with the bracket that I modified to install it, I can’t remember what generation it came off https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/204211245022?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0&ssspo=6vyr4BQfQdW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=qpegKwgQSeq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Got most of the oil system plumbed up got the oil filter into place, I hate where it is but it was the only place I could find where it wasn’t in the way of anything Then plumbed the oil cooler In, BMRS fitting and hoses make this stuff so easy and then the 2 -16 hoses run the length of the car into the boot, need to build a bracket to mount the tank and then the oil system will be done -
Stagea 260rs wiring into r34 gt4 skyline help
r32-25t replied to Mussy's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Ecu you can use an r32 or 33 gtr one. the wiring you basically need to separate the body harness out of the engine harness and put the 34 body harness into the rb26 engine harness. It sounds scarier then it is, a multimeter and an ecu pin out will be a huge help and do one wire at a time -
I like the amount of room they give around the a/c line and etc, they were a nightmare with my 6boost

Thoughts on acceptable street tyre wear rates
r32-25t replied to Murray_Calavera's topic in General Automotive Discussion
My next set of tyres on the gtr will probably be a set of ad09, I’ve currently got a set of ad08r on there and are being replaced because they’ve gotten to old not because they wore out -

I changed the fuel rain from being twin -6 feed and single -6 return to single -8 in and out mounted the filter and plumbed them together also am moving the flex sensor closer to the regulator and grabbed turbosmarts new -8 reg. Still some fittings and etc to get them in there, also fitted a pressure sensor for more safety -

Haven’t updated this for a while, I went on holidays and then had the flu 3 times in 2 months and when I have been well it’s been lots of little jobs that haven’t been finished for one reason or another. First I changed the fuel return line from -6 to -8 Replaced the short series filter to a long one then I grab a set of these brackets and took the option for the hicas line holders as well installed them and used the hicas line holders to hold the 2 -6 lines for the power steering -
