why hasn't anyone go twin external gates for -5 turbos? at least it will make them work better instead of being awesome exhaust restrictions.

But on doodling you're doing the right thing.. external is for party time! Also when they test your car for emissions it's like at 100kPa or so which means the gate is shut so all your exhaust is flowing through the cat. On another note, regardless of bypassing cat on noise or not it's still going to make less pollution than a VW, or Audi or Skoda, etc. Lol

you "could" do this.. 3" dump -> Cat (because we are sensible) -> 3.5" Cat Back... plumb gate back into 3.5" cat back.. bypassing the cat legal enough.. at EPA they won't be cracking gates.

but how will the exhaust gases get past the 2x restrictors? unless you twin externally gate them.... then you might as well just get a single

go back on the dyno, drop the cat and run dump/down to atmosphere and pump in a few degrees of timing after peak torque (of course monitoring knock)

Hallos, I have a housing for sale from my old setup. Guaranteed will make the bitches moist when they hear the gate crack open and dump that beautiful exhaust gas and aromatic E85 smell. My missus usually bashed me when it opened up, but I'm sure your missus won't! Will fit Hypergear SS2 (best to check with Tao if it fits your version). Housing has been modified by scotty_nm35 and has been fitted up with a 45mm v-band. Clears all your car's pipework, even the stock cross over pipe. You're missing a X too. GT turbos are so old, if you're buying brand new you would be silly not to buy a GTX. How much power do you want? A GTX3576 properly setup in twin scroll would be silly power and fun.

you'll lose low end.. make like an extra 10~15kW up top.. barely worth it.. unless you're making in the 400kW+ range.

I read the same as GTSdoseboy Actuator pressure source = turbo EBC display reading = plenum sounds correct, settings need tweaking. I like the older controller.. none of this P GAIN crap lol
