  1. You can also do that on most aftermarket ECUs, even a pov spec Adaptronic does that
  2. Let me guess, you're running an Adaptronic? You need to set the base idle duty cycle too and set the dwell correctly vs. voltages or else you'll get all sorts of issues. Also I find allowing up to 3 degrees of variable ignition timing on the idle close loop helps with all those issues
  3. RB25DE NEO with Turbo, yeah that's called a R34 GT-t My advise, sell car, buy a real car / thread
  4. go elsewhere - it's an inspection man, they only care about: lights working seat belts brake test no oil leaks tyres above indicator Just bring it to a performance shop, they will pass it
  5. I'm able to help, but you will need to pitch in for the Nistune license and assist in removing your stock O2 so I can fit a wideband in there.
  6. Still in my car running E85 this week, after this week they will be removed so you won't be able to experience then running.
  7. The 3x ECU you listed will essentially do the same thing, run the same way, perform the same way I personally prefer Haltech because the software looks prettier LOL
  8. Hey Errbody! Up for grabs are 2x NITTO INVO 245/45/17 Tyres. Perfect for your R33 GT-R wheels or similar! I bought these new at the start of 2013 at Taleb tyres for $190 each, they have been only at the front of my car since then. I removed them just last Saturday in place of NITTO NT01 tyres as I'm going to the track. These tyres would have seen around under 8000km of road use and 1x Wakefield track day event. I would say there's around 60% of tread remaining on them and zero punctures etc. These are FABULOUS tyres, nice and quiet yet grippy. Please look up them up on forums/review sites etc. Location: Canley Vale, NSW, 2166 Price: Looking at $150 for both of them picked up Contacts: Here or PM

  10. spanner? you need a 1/4" socket set.. spanner will hit the fan and/or the ancillaries belts I think.. never tried loosening the CAS bolts with a spanner, curious now if it fits lol.. always have used a socket
  11. helped me when I couldn't get 98 and put in 95 RON.. just went into the controller and trimmed of 3 degrees of timing - happy days.. not to mention I ran the Apexi Boost Kit too.. so hand controller was tits. these days, wouldn't touch that dinosaur.. rawr lol
  12. ^ they would be so mad, they will throw DIM SIMS at us haha
  13. then you might as well just buy D2 Ling Long Dim Sim brakes to begin with.. probably safer bet.
  14. Not sure if it's a real article - but I'm a believer already. Makes me sad being 1/2 Chinese http://www.zerotohundred.com/2014/auto-news/psa-found-cheap-brembo-read-this/#.U-tErWMjFK1
  15. For a Turbosmart Gate?
  16. PT gates, have a look in the DSM forums - guys have had them jam up! Go with Scotty on the gates he has good prices
  17. Good starting point on AFRs.. short and sweet article.. please note this applies to gasoline only.. if you try and use those AFRs with E85 you might end up misfiring http://tunertools.com/articles/AFR-Tuning.asp I'm still pretty new to E85 and only tuned 2x so far, however I find E85 likes to be leaner rather than richer.. I tend to get phantom knock & misfires as the AFRs drop.
  18. Will be happy to split the injectors away from the OEM rail, and OEM FPR for those SR20DET boys who are after them. I've re priced everything after some consideration. $480 for everything, 7x Injectors, FPR, Rail, Straight out/in affair $400 for 6x Injectors, FPR, Rail, Straight out/in affair $380 for 6x Injectors $300 for 4x Injectors $100 for 1x Injector (new) $80 for 1x Injector (used) $30 for Rail & FPR I am firm, don't low ball me as I will just ignore you
  19. Even so under 12:1 isn't the magic number.. some motors like richer AFRs at max VE to keep knock levels down and then AFRs can even lean out to 12.5 AFR as load drops. Not to mention richer AFRs will promote more torque where as leaner AFRs will promote more power... but say you're running low timing at peak torque you also want richer AFRs to keep things cooler on the exhaust side. I really really suggest you pay a tuner to tune your car before you lunch a motor.
  20. You need to do a ton more research Stoich on power is asking for trouble.
