  2. ffffffffffffuuuarrrkkk too much spotting, how about we organise a car cruise/meet for only awesome skylines lol
  3. ^ same way every Honda driver is a cocktard? lol at the end of the day, we can rip better skids, so chin up.. I still want a C63 AMG
  4. I drove one with 220kW at the front wheels.. makes full boost at 2800 rpm... and fries 3rd with KU31 tyres at the front. They're amazing, the torque is just phenomenal !
  5. bastards, all moving to the darkside I drove a Mazda 3 MPS with just a remap, larger top mount, and a turbo back.. makes my R33 feel like a bucket of shit Drove a mates Evo 8, made me want to burn my car lol
  6. in my opinion, that's quite a lot of timing in that map on load (but could be due to the CAS being retarded) what's your EGT reading when you're on full noise?
  7. clear ya inbox already! I want to buy your front springs only lol
  8. Also depends how the pressure plate is set up. If you've ever driven a car with a NPC clutch you'll be amazed how soft and how little effort is required to press the pedal. To give you an idea, a NPC 1800 kg pressure plate will feel like you're driving a Yaris. However the way they're setup, it's also OFF and ON.. and a total bastard to drive. However, clutch specialists have a way of setting up clutch plates so they engage differently by slightly creating a void between the pressure plate & clutch disc. I recently had mine "tricked" up, and I can tell you the pedal is as light as a Yaris and also it's quite drivable and has no on and off siet.. the clamp has been reduced to 1700kg however that's more than enough for my fridge.
  9. UPDATE: Pulled off the box (well I paid a pro this time, was lazy but glad I did).. turns out my NPC clutch looked as good as it did the day I put it on. We measured the disc it was about 0.04mm worn (which is nothing), both disc & pressure plate were in top notch. Had the pressure plate tested and the clamp was actually 1870 kg.. So why was it slipping you ask? The previous owner had installed the incorrect bearing carrier so when the box was placed back onto the motor essentially the clutch was being ridden all day long ever so slightly. So whilst the box was off, Scott from Western Clutch cleaned and inspected all my parts.. turns out ALSO my clutch fork was fractured.. lucky it never broke because that wouldn't have been fun. Executive Decision Time Since everything was off & being sorted, I told Scott I had issues going into gear on the track when I was in super dooper high RPM. He mentioned that the plates Doug used were heavy and when you press the clutch pedal to change gears, the inertia of the disc keeps the box spinning and hence it crunches when you select a new gear.. I bit the bullet and changed to a lighter custom carbotic plate. At the same time, Scott modified my pressure plate, machined it and machined a step onto my fly wheel. He also replaced my bearing, bearing carrier (new), clutch fork (new) & spigot bush. By the end of it, I now have a clutch that feels as light as a Yaris clutch (I'm not kidding either) with a clamp of 1700kg and no more crunching at high rpm shifts. Sometimes it's actually worth paying a professional than doing it yourself. Cheers & big thank you to Scott, his dad & team at Western Clutch at St Mary's Now, anyone want to buy a 10" NPC Carbotic clutch disc that's nearly new? under 14 000 km old (3 track days, 1 skid day, and at the time car only had 200kW)
  10. Using a Venom 100 cell 5" inch body cat also, hasn't dislodged itself like another brand I've used before in a previous fridge.
  11. gives you an idea of how you can mount the stock shield, coincidentally the stock holes of the shield line up to the power steering reservoir bracket
  12. Hopefully no more boiling power steering fluid on the track, so no need for a condom wrapped on the reservoir hahahaha
  13. Matty I finally did my power steering cooler after one year of talking about it haha.. I used red gates hose because it's half the price of black gates hose and the core is from a R33 auto transmission cooler
  14. wow, first time I've actually seen photos of your car or anything haha.. good job, looks stealth as fuark
  15. Noes I haz SS2 with 45mm hypergate so ner!
  16. narrrrrr no way No smoke = No hoon and on "private" roads yes, like your "private" road hahaha
  17. and more restecpa when doing u-turns, no more 3 point turns need, just pop the clutch LOL
  18. doesn't snap out on power doesn't snap out in the wet around corners/roundabouts better on the track no snap out oversteering on the track more smoke when lighting up the tyres less traction loss (as now the power is 50/50 instead of all to 1x wheel) just say it's so more epic
  19. ^ it's only cheap at Taleb, another places want another $120 ontop LOL
