If you're re-installing the motor, might as well just leave the manifold/turbo on. Beats fitting them after the motor goes in, it's a cnut of a job, especially with a high mount (not in your case). There is definitely more than enough room to get the motor in with the manifolds pre-installed. If you get really bored and go through 200000+ of BS in my thread you'll see a photo of my motor lifted into the car with both manifolds on.

Also have used seatbelts for engines/boxes etc. in the past. Even my old man used them when he pulled cars back into shape, preferred them over using chains and shit.

I've done a pump with the engine still in, wasn't fun with an extended sump, but possible 😭

Could have bought another JDM shit box with it. I feel dirty there are 3x Aeroflow fittings on my car, but I didn't put them on. Already have 1x Speedflow fitting to replace. 2x more are on the Plazmaman plenum on the underside, too hard basket lol.

wow.. fancy, break in oil! Both motors I just poured in normal motor oil left over from the daily cars as break-in oil, dumped it after about hundred kms and pop in the usual Penrite 15W50 bullshit and sent its mum to the moon, albeit the 1st motor exploded after 2x track days at Wakefield Park.

I did a few years back? it was pretty straight forward! Used an ASR modified sump & pickup. Then bolted up the factory R33 RB25DET intake manifold, and just reversed the CAS wires.

Wakefield Park days were brutal, drive up with 5x jerry cans (over filled at 22L each) with 98RON in the tank. First session drive off the 98RON, reacquaint myself then literally 5x sessions, 5x jerry cans. After that, stop by the BP in town to fill up on 98RON and run whatever mix and drive home. Here's a business ideal, open up a petrol station near by with E85 once One Raceway opens up. Looks like with the new facilities, there will be good traffic.

My shit box does about 12 to 13L/100km on 98RON with the AC on (can't drive with the windows down, catch can stinks 😭). On E85 that goes to about 22L to 25L/100km. On the track, I use about 20L every 5 to 6 laps (3.94km long), works about ~74L/100km lol..

They're good as a wheel chock or as a door stopper. I recall @STATUS uses them as a paper weight.

Getting a business to pay for that setup, coaching and training would be a mission. I doubt small businesses will see the value or even pay for it.
