Clearly the cows, sheep, bin chickens, wild flowers are really upset about the noise. Council, or whoever they are, aren't very smart. Goulburn's livelihood is dependent on track racers such as myself. We would go down there for a weekend, eat/drink hire accommodation buy things at the local shops/Supercheap etc. Not very smart for their economy, good on them for standing up for their rights. Good on ya Gary and Karen.

billet oil pump gears are rubbish, I've gone the extra step. Nitto oil pump bruvvaaa I believe it's stop/start to onboard memory only, same way you would press F6 in NSP.

Slow 180sx VQ30DETT

Sounds like by the time yours is done it would be $100k easily, paint job, ECU/wiring/sensors, proper suspension setup, etc. They are a money vortex! -

lol.... I kept a spreadsheet on the current shit box, total costs excludes serviceable parts (fluids, pads, filters, etc.), dyno tuning (because I tuned it myself), but still it's crept up to $90k for a shit box GTS-t. -

Good luck bro! Hopefully your transition to Australia is smooth, and maybe you'll have some brain fart and buy my car so I can buy myself a M3 lol -

Damn, only option now is to reshell. Take all the good bits out, pop it on a pallet. Find a 180SX shell here and apply the parts on it. -

Best LED headlight bulb to use?
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to tridentt150v's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
Nizmo God has spoken, thanks bro! I'll have a good read and see what I can do to improve the garbage headlights. At this point, seems easier to buy a M3 lol -

Some solid work there, as you may or may have not picked up from my build thread I have next to no time to DIY stuff these days. Easier to find H1 globes that perform, slot them in and enjoy. They do look ok actually, too bad we don't have those kinds of services in Australia retrofitting HIDs, LEDs from OEM applications to old 90s shit boxes. -
Best LED headlight bulb to use?

Also came here for LED H1 globes, found nothing LOL. Been driving around in the Tiguan (has auto levelling LED headlights) and drove the R33 the other day in the evening. It feels like the headlights produce like 30% of what the Tiguan produces! Not to mention the lenses are clear (been polished) and it already has some Philips H1 globes in there. Must be getting old, but it feels like I can barely see anything with the R33's lights at night. These look exxy af, but will they perform? I kind of don't want to take the risk (feeling poor atm). https://www.stedi.com.au/copper-head-h1-led-head-light-conversion-kit.html -

Just my 2 cents, put on a Nitto or Tomei headgasket along with ARP head studs since the motor is apart. -

Brake Pads Users Ratings Guide
Dose Pipe Sutututu replied to Snowman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Time for an update on the Intima RS compound I think, so in a hasty rush to get my car ready for All Jap Day in Sydney (some what a great kick up the backside to finish the car off) I decided to give the brake department a quick check and the pads that I was using before have been superseded by the current 2022 compound. I thought why not replace them since the last set was at about 50% pad life. Say hello to the new and improved Intima RS compound! Note: I am using the DC5R version of the IN1520 pad as they're currently on backorder. The DC5R version is about 2mm thinner. Initial impressions, wow... just wow, they hook up even though I didn't even give them a chance to bed in properly. After bedding them in, that's where they really perform on the street. For a track oriented pad, the performance from cold they're providing can somewhat described similar to the Project Mu HC+ (not the HC800 version). Nice predictable initial bite, and as you feed in the brakes you can really experience the braking capacity. The braking effort (on the street) when compared to the test Intima RS pads was much less. Comparing these to the old Type-D v2 compound is just day and night. The older Type-D v2 pads were progressive, they worked but always need a fair amount of pedal effort. These are completely different, I would say you would really need to change your braking habits if you're used to the Type-D 2 pads. I haven't had a chance to try them on a race track just yet (was supposed to be last Sunday, however All Jap Day was cancelled due to adverse weather). I suspect I'll be going to Wakefield Park in the coming months and will report back on how they perform! Tech Details: 0°c to ~ 850°c degrees operating temperature 0.35 – 0.60µ friction coefficient 100% Non-Asbestos Carbon Kevlar Formula https://intimabrakes.com.au/home-corporate/intima-rs/ Disclosure: Previous test Intima RS pads were provided to me for free and the current set in my car has been provided for review at a heavily discounted price. Car is running DBA T3 4000 all round (I hate slotted rotors, but yes the rears are slotted as DBA ran out of plain rotors when I needed them back then). Front caliper is from a 350Z, rear is factory. -
LOL... I think we are all mentally unstable to some degree (talking about us, the old timers on SAU and yes I would like to use the word autistic or retarded, etc. but it's 2022 and we can't use those words anymore). @Kinkstaah really Gregged up, he could have just bought a SS or HSV but he wanted to Greg shit up with his R34. @mlr really Gregged up too, he could have just bought a four door Skyline, but wanted to obtain Skyline performance out of his bogandore
