  1. yeah my vote is for a boost leak or weak valve springs.... it looks to me like the whizzer can supply the pressure but not the volume up top. if there is a smallish boost leak, the wastegate wont open untill the correct pressure still- but the poor ittle whizzer is working overtime to supply the engine and the leak. same thing can happen with blowing open valves, eg weak valve springs. the last boost leak I found on the gtr wasn't to be found on the dyno... but as soon as I hit the track I found it. Cheers Justin
  2. Simon, can you give us a quick review of your front susp set up? Cheers Justin

  8. ... I do need an rb30 bottom end. swapsies?
  9. It weighs less than a stock gtr bonnet and a lot less than a gts-t bonnet. Its carbon top skin. Top skin and clear coat are perfect, underneath just needs a clean. You wouldn't go to a cf bonnet (regardless of brand/style) to save weight on a gtr, unless your already going to extremes. Biggest benefit is greatly reduced under bonnet temps and coolant temps. Perfect as a track day bonnet (save cutting holes in your stock lid to fitt bonnet latches). Ha ha ha.... our deals always end up working out awesome for you
  10. no way........ that's just not cricket. revvy little 20 would be perfect in a light classic.
  11. residual oil in exhaust???
  12. For you.... an awesome deal shoot me a pm if your keen.
  13. ooops... just read the rest of the thread. My opinion still stands. J.
  14. For the love of god stay away from the smaller or all the precision turbo's.... I've been there and they fell on they're face. Best thing I ever did was go to a trust t67 10cm. I'm not sure you can go low mount a t67 but nothing is impossible. Personally I would take a good hard look at a t3 rear, 8cm td06 with a custom core from hypergear. ... my 5557 and 5558 with two different wastegate set ups were useless compared to a plain old td turbo. Cheers Justin
  15. Bonnet still for sale. Will do a great deal for a pick up. Cheers Justin
  16. Bonnet still for sale. Will do a good deal for a pick up (southern tasmania). Cheers Justin
  17. doh.... car's in pieces again.
  18. An HID will provide the best results...
  19. It's very difficult to see the offset stamp on the back of the hub. I can say they fitt really well on a 300zx and perfect on an old datsun I had. I'd say +22 ish in the rear and +30ish on the front... Gold bolts are in good nick, rear tyres are full tread depth (265 brand name tyres). ... Perfect for a 5 stud silvia, r31, gts-t etc. Pistons are sold, pending payment.
  20. Only if you connect then in series, but you have to wire them up in parallel...
  21. One in each dump pipe, as close to the turbine as possible. Most K type thermocouples will fitt next to the 02 sensors on the stock twin set up. Cheers J.
