I couldn't help but notice homoton took about 12 laps or so to get past an over the hill coulthard... where were all his ballsy super duper magic moves???? oh that's right, this track had walls instead of nice bitumen run-off.... he move on coulthard was simply (and finally!) a faster car getting past a woefully slow one. i can't believe he couldn't get it done about 10 laps sooner. weak sauce. poor webber, he was looking good for something between 1st and 3rd and his car let him down AGAIN.... d'oh. still he must surely be used to it by now. as if kimi is boring. he is the only clown with a decent sense of humour... lol "I was taking a shit". homoton would have said " daddy was helping me use the potty"... thank god for nelson putting it in the wall at exactly the right moment cause the race was a bit tedious of the first 20 laps... surely ferrari will bin this stupid traffic light pit system they have. you really need a bloke at the front of the car who can see everything happening and move the lolipop once it's all clear. they all hit their lights but then the rig got stuck and without a lolipop man there to slam the thing down and say 'woah nelly' they got screwed. they were happy to give ferrari a penatly as massa's race was already f**ked so they said "yeah just give 'em the penalty to shut up those hamilton fans" if massa was still up the order it would have been another small fine. just spewing webbers car failed and spewing kimi put it in the wall. how embarasing for homo getting smashed by gonzo in an inferior car....

Actuator Thing Touching Jjr Dump Pipe
Beer Baron replied to WET-25T's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
something is definately wrong with yours. look at how slow it is to get to 11psi. it doesn't hit 11psi till nearly 6,000rpm!!! stock turbo should hit 11psi about 2,000rpm earlier than that and the boost curve should be no where near that slow. this is a sure sign of a wastegate problem (or in this case a dump pipe problem). -
yeah I live about 80 meters from devonshire st and I have to say it's not a safe area at all. too much housing commission up devonshire st.... on the plus side the gaelic club is approx 15 meters from central station so train is easy.

here's some osaka castle by my hand! Probably the most amazing part of Osaka castle is the castle walls, grounds and moat. Some of the stones in the wall are insanely massive. Amazing. One of the biggest stones. The biggest one has a surface area of 60m2 and weights 130tonne! Ok, the wet moat: dry moat miyajima is worth checking out too, about 40min out of hiroshima. it's an island accesible by a short ferry ride. This is approaching the island by water. and at night. breathtaking. Miyajima is absolutely covered in wildlife. There are Deer everywhere, and they are not afraid to come up and try and snatch your stuff. Most of them have they antlers docked but some bad-ass ones higher up in the mountain still have them. You don't want to piss them off. Here are two deer looked in mortal combat. When I was down at Miyajima it was late autumn 2006. Very busy time as everyone wants to see the leaves change. The colours are just amazing. 5 Story Pagoda on Miyajima

tough call. TAS is great and if he's never been before he will love it. on the other hand if you hold off a bit you could consider going to a D1 drift event or perhaps a super GT race later in the year when it's not peak season. it may be a good idea to see what he rates as most important. TAS or savings. to be honest I've found with JAL flighs in peak season usually around $1800 and off peak only falls to $1500 or $1600 so not a huge difference in price. but some hotels may charge higher rates in peak time.

Where To Purchase A "built" Rb30 Crate Engine
Beer Baron replied to CosmoLTW's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I would suggest pro engines in queanbeyan. they really know their shit and have built plenty of excellent RBs over the years. http://www.proengines.com.au/ -
oh hamilton. you make it so easy to hate you. I'm realising i've been right all along. you really are just another wanker who through years of practice has learnt how to steer a car well. whoop-de-fucking-doo.

I'm reading hustler's 100 tips for top sex at the moment. also quality reading. excellent diagrams too. I reccomend picking that one up. in fact they had one called "tune to win: how to land a smoking hot broad minded female" too.

1994 R32 Gtr Veilside Evo 4. Are They V Specs?
Beer Baron replied to glaze's topic in General Automotive Discussion
yeah, don't get me wrong. they are still cool. just not really to my taste. I'm sure you will love it mate, and no doubt it's different from the other masses of GTR. I would definately get the front bar and the wheels to make it sort of complete again. veilsides shop in japan is awesome and they have some super cool cars there. a friend of mine bought 2 of their FDs that they made for the tokyo drift fast and furious movie. now they were cool! -
I own a 2001 RZ model. most of what people has said is true. the interior is tiny and if you are over 6ft you will either not be comfortable or need to do some mods (aftermarket wheel with spacer so it clears your knees, and bucket seats mounted to the floor). being an RZ mine has factor kevlar recaros which are mounted to the floor and have tilt adjustment too, so I can get comfy in it, and the RZ has no rear seats either which means the front seats can go right back. plus they smartly put 2 storage bins where the rear seats normally go which helps. but these cars still have bugger all boot space or cabin storage. I love the dash layout and the drivnig position is great. however the fit of some of the interior plastics is pretty average. my 2001 model had less than 40,000kms and was not modified but it was due for a rebuild when I bought it in japan. I decided to get it re built over there as they really know their shit. I got the engine built at pre-stage and it is awesome (these guys http://www.prestage.rgr.jp/ourjobs.html http://www.prestage.rgr.jp/workscar.html ). I used brand new genuine housings, everything balance, new seals etc, and a mild port job. The thing runs amazingly well now. so torquey from about 2,000 and is quicker than a standard or near standard GTR. I have owned a number of GTRs including 32s, 33,s and a 34. Everything from completely standard to a 500ps+ one built by Prime Garage. I love them all for different reasons, but the RX-7 is a great driving car, but very impractical and yes reliability can be an issue. it wont be for everyone, but you never know. even buying the most immaculate car something can go wrong. Anyway, it seems you've made your choice. enjoy. some pics of my car, and my rebuild. http://photos.yahoo.co.jp/ph/cyoko810/lst?...rc=ph%26.view=t

you can buy them from nissan. imo the best option for a 33 GTR is the factory S3 front lip. I had one on my old 33 and loved it.
-
oh, and why didn't the quick time count? did they find you had used ferarri technical data? or had a 'fuel cooler' that could hold 2 litres of fuel? lol. and why did you have to brake 60m before the finish?

1994 R32 Gtr Veilside Evo 4. Are They V Specs?
Beer Baron replied to glaze's topic in General Automotive Discussion
shame it's missing the veilside andrew wheels and the veilside front bar. cars like that are really only worth something serious if they are original. but providing the bodywork underneath the kit is ok it would still be worth as much as a nice clean 32 GTR which is good. I just hope you didn't pay a premium for it. it certainly is *cough 'different' looking..... personally though if we are talking veilside GTRs I would only want one of their nicer widebody 32s, or maybe their drag car. some piscs from last time I was there. There is a pic of your kit too (well what it should look like). I took these pics last time I was at veilide in japan. they have probably a dozen or more wide body 32s lying around the place, some just rotting away outside in the back carpark... this is the one to get really. much nicer wide guards rather than the garish stick on flares they used on the other version. check out the size and offset of the wheels they fit to the full widebody 32s.... nice. or the grand daddy 7 second GTR. 1200ps supra? they are not known for subtlety! this is what yours should look like nice carpark. -
**autosports** Wakefield Park Saturday 13th Sept

nice, car looks good BHDave. it was certainly driven well by the last owner. goes to show you don't need mega bucks to go mega fast. makes me look silly.... -
sydney central panel beaters are in redfern, regent street. I've been there quite a few times now (my RX7 is there right now). maybe give them a buzz.

I would place all my money on faulty fuel pump installation. the pump needs to be mounted to the BOTTOM of the fuel tank and ensure the pickup is near the bottom and is not obstructed or getting blocked in anyway. to be honest this is why for intank installs I always just go with nismo or tomei pumps as it can be a hassle trying to mount non-bolt in pumps properly inside the tank.

nice pics mate. sorry I missed the event. I love watching the drift at oran park. makes for a much better drift track than eastern creek for spectating imo.

Hi Sarah, there is no problem getting around japan without any japanese knowledge. as long as you are willing to try things and ask for help if you need it. knowing some basic language and very importantly pronunciation will help a lot though. often foreigners have trouble correctly pronouncing japanese words and this can make it hard for japanese people to understand what you are trying to say. If it's your first time to japan and you don't have any japanese language definitely get a lonley planet guide and maybe a phrase book too. even just knowing things like "can I have an english menu" or "take me to ........ please" for taxis, or "how much is that one" all those little things can help make things easy for you. Race days like Super GT or Nismo Festival etc are easy to get tickets for and not usually expensive either. Phsically getting to some circuits can be a little trickier but not impossible even for first timers. Tsukuba circuit would be pretty hard to get to without a car though. Fuji is not too bad though. The basic drift days and private track days are a little more tricky as they don't usually have 'spectating' as such. mostly just the competitors and their friends are there. and they wont really be published anywhere in english. Street racing is certainly not as prolific as people here seem to think. It does happen but it's not like you can just go out at night and stumble across an initial D style togue battle. without a car and some friends who know where the street racing is at on any particular night it would be very hard to find any. I have purely been lucky through people that I know in japan who are into that kind of thing who have taken me out all those times. Anyway, bottom line is definitely don't let a lack of japanese language scare you off going to japan. you will still enjoy yourself a lot. Glad you enjoyed my photos too.
