  1. Be carefull with putting stickers on helmets, some glues weakin the helmet casing
  2. Arh yeah, you should climb into my 32 one day, only 2.6 and a massive torque monster I was in Canberra over the weekend with the 34 doing the hill climb
  3. Lol, i was going to put a GTS-4 badge on my 32 not long after i bought it for shits and giggles
  4. Took the words straight out of my mouth
  5. RWD dyno isn't an issue, he will just rip out the front prop shaft
  6. Could try DVS Tuning on the central coast, Jez has built a bit of a good rep for himself, i haven't used him personally but have heard good things
  7. They lock them so no one can see their tunes, they did the same thing to my FC and Scott was able to get around it I would have expected more down low then that, you need to get someone else to tune it properly CRD did the first tune on my 32, i supplied the Power FC and Z32 AFMs, they just had to fit and tune, they charged me $440 to make "adaptors" to go from the AFMs to the HKS pod filters and all they did was weld 4mm alloy plate to the HKS pod adaptors and tap to suit the Z32 which i could have done at home, they replaced 3 day old spark plugs with the same ones, but couldn't give me back the old ones, then farked me around for 3 hours waiting for it to get tuned, as soon as got there after then telling me it would be ready by then i asked if they would rather i came back the next day they replied no it will get done 5:30 it goes on dyno and less then an hour later it comes off which included dialing cams and i got a $1800 bill, that wednesday i went tk the drags and the car went from 11.9 on stock ecu to 11.8 after CRD tuned, i was pissed at how it drove so i replaced the dodgy adaptors with an Apexi Z32 kit then while looking for Dave Flood i came across Scott at insight and after talking to him for 10mins i went home and got the car, $350 later tuned properly and drove better then stock ECU and the following Wednesday ran back to back 11.3@125mph
  8. Fark discount, his mechanic broke it, why should it cost you anything ? Full price and he can get the $3.5k from the machanic to go towards rebuild
  9. It's a fair effort to make 1000hp at all four If you don't me asking, what option OS88 have you got and with what diff ratios I have a option 2 on the way which i'm going to run with the stock diffs
  10. Well these are performce cars and as such all that matters is the finish line which is why i added the time AND mph that that motor pushed a 1500kg car plus 100kgs for me down the quater and while you can do all the theory in the world on what does what and why and what has a better design, it means nothing if it doesn't show results at the finish line
  11. Slip ons are illegal Bolt ons are a grey area and not ideal, though i used 20mm Neotech bolt on ones for a year including 6 or so trackdays without an issue Correct offset wheels = win
  12. While in theory you are correct my issue is, unless you know the best setting down low to get the turbo on and the best setting to get top end and can change exactly from one to the other and all the varying degrees inbetween all you are doing is throwing a hand full of rock at the side of a barn and hoping some hit the mark Which is way i still beleive a correctly set timing pair of cams is still better then VCT, but am happy to be proven wrong
  13. You mean like this, stock 26 with simple bolt ons and dialed cams This graph was done 4 days after the full weight car ran 11.3@125mph on 18"s
  14. If you don't know what and where a "slump" the sump is then you have a metric fark load to learn before you are even capable of considering this conversion Again with the neo being better then a 26, proof is all i want, i know a stock neo with stock turbo is never going to make 400rwhp, i have proved a 26 will
  15. RB30 sump The RB26 has two sump bolt patterns, one is 4WD sump other is RB30 Edit, just read your whole post and oh wow, you have NFI, sell and buy GTR
  16. 9) Road and Track Drivers Club
  17. Hahaha i'll put my hand up for that, same car similar power, would be nice to feel the difference in setups and i'm going to be there anyway at this point And while im here 385 & 400 420 & 445 Also i have stock motor stock turbo with dialed in cams and it is responsive as fark and in a R32 GTR it is briliant but the R34 is 250+kgs heavier and it wouldn't be so good, the 34 should have been a 2.8 with -7s or 3.0 with -5s from factory, that would have made it what it should have been
  18. Had to be sunday Monday i'd be good to go
  19. i could tell by looking at it it was going to be close so i checked as i went and first one bottomed out so all of them got the second washer
  20. When fitting a 26 head to a 30 bottom end with 25 studs you have to make sure the threads are not bottoming out, i had to run two washers with mine, 26 washers then ARP washers on top
  21. Ok so the 28SS-2 turbine with the 64mm comp wheel sounds about 99% exactly what i'm after, just wonder what if any effect the 11 blade turbine does to flow and inertia V the 9 blade with slotting two extra blades in the same space I just sold the -7s so would this be something you can supply as a complete unit in -5 housings or would i need to source the housings
