  1. Is that just tracing the outline with an LED? It's a very cool technique
  2. Why are you trying to justify something from a thread more than 2 years old? Read the date of the last post
  3. GTR bonnets will fit series 1. It's only the series 2 that have different lights/grille positioning I know the r32's aren't so simple because of the way the front bar and lights are but r33's are doable
  4. Piggyback your spanners to get more length and leverage (if you have cheap spanners be careful they don't break) Just need more force to undo them. Worst case is you snap a bolt but that shouldn't happen
  5. How do you get that so perfect
  6. Not legally AFAIK. Apparently LPG works well but isn't used for obvious reasons
  7. Check out the townsville thread. Phil (PMR-33) has got a shipment of carbon parts in that you will get for a good price off him Welcome
  8. That's how they were on mine so yes they are like that for whatever reason
  9. Sick of this carbon tax already. I'm overseas till the 1st so hope my air con stays good for a while If not I won't be happy
  10. I went from exert cushion button to NPC. I had a seco pressure plate on mine but. The NPC has a lighter pedal feel and bites longer. Not to mention its lasted twice as long so far. Call NPC and talk to them. They don't really list products because they can pretty much tailor make a clutch for you. I suggest getting the billet lightweight flywheel as well
  11. Yep that's how they look
  12. It's just a ground wire. Anywhere on the chassis will be fine
  13. Yeah pretty much this. I've seen the eBay ones and they basically raise the pivot point so less throw is needed The way I described above doesn't decrease the throw just decreases the length of the shifter. Gives the illusion of a shorter throw basically
  14. eBay, just jap. Lots of places. I had a spare so I made my own. Just cut the threaded part off, got rid of the rubber filled top section and welded the threaded part to the inner section of the shifter. I wanted a solid shifter with a bit less length so pretty happy with it
  15. This one looks right. I remember the shims and the plate that looks vented. How much was this if you don't mind me asking?
  16. Spent some of last night at scirocco bar in Bangkok (where parts of the hangover 2 was filmed) 64 floors up with a sheet of glass on one side and a bar on the other and nothing but sky when you look up. Cars here are sweet. Saw a Honda Jazz with carbon fibre bonnet, carbon fibre stripes and a carbon fibre spoiler. It sounds really lame but its kinda cool cause you know that's all they can really do Did see a 35 GTR the other day but, as well as a few Maserati's, lotus' and a Bentley at one of the shopping centre So hows things back home?
  17. Yeah you can adjust inj vs wtr temp correction etc but I would just buy a new temp sensor. The sensor I think fails low so will be seeing -30 degrees or something and dumping fuel into it to get it to start Edit: sorry didnt see the bit about the car being stuck at work. You would need to bridge it with a resistor in between, not sure how many ohms it would have to be
  18. A tuner would rarely adjust the timing around idle unless there was a timing problem. There is no gain from advancing timing in these cells Adjust your base timing back to 20 degrees if this was where it was set
  19. Buy the stealth spoiler and cut the rear section off then mould it into the boot. Will take a bit of mucking around but would be the easiest way to do it
  20. Not the best photo but I bought all the rubber washers from just jap and got m6 x 25mm inhex marine grade bolts for mine. Looks better then stock. Dodgy photo but its the only one I have
  21. $35 isn't alot of money. I'd rather pay that then get a cheap rip off that only lasts 3 days. If it was a paper gasket I'd be saying yeah its a rip off. But $35 for what it is, realistically is nothing to whine about
  22. Good to hear its all coming together ben. Sounded like you had everything pretty sorted last time I saw it anyway
  23. Should easily still get dash lights with 10v. You may have a wiring issue (high resistance somewhere)
  24. They weren't much from pedders and they have a few different sizes. Had to measure my tie rods and matched them up
