  1. It'll be a flurri green or yellow if its from the compressor. It would have mixed with the gas a bit.
  2. You need to disconnect one of the plugs on the AAC valve I'm pretty sure to adjust it Or maybe one of the TPS plugs? Sorry don't remember which one. But once you do this your revs will drop so if you've wound it in it might stall.
  3. As above That will rule out the turbo timer or let you know that's the issue. But I would put my money on that having a small wiring problem
  4. I have a shifter from an sr20 gearbox. Not sure what it's out of but cause the sr20 is in a ute. I have an r33 but I think the boxes are the same?
  5. Wow.... Awesome photos
  6. turbo timer wired wrong. So your saying after it counts down to zero, the lights come on and the car starts again? how do you get it to turn off?
  7. I would stress that you think long and hard before undertaking a project like an RB25/30. It could end up costing alot in parts and labour (if not doing it yourself) If your goals arent terribly high then consider just getting an RB26 but your car so you do what you want to do. I was just advising lol
  8. Be prepared for it to cost money..... RB25/30 Guide
  9. There's a slight difference with the VCT but I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with the head. I know the bottom ends are the same so was just covering my bases and not saying the top end is the same lol. Neo engines are different top end
  10. 4wd is probably 50/50. FR would be 100% (or mainly) rear drive, Normal would be the way the normal attessa works (think it varies with however much grip is available) or whatever it does
  11. Just press them? looks like the button on the right changes between the 3 modes, maybe the other one is on off? i dunno
  12. Are you talking about the AC reciever dryer? looks like a black canister with an AC line in one side and out the other? A/C Runs R134a refrigerant with a little bit of oil to lubricate the compressor. Only someone with a A/C license can vac and regass the system. Heavy fines for doing this without a license
  13. Just pull the gearbox out and find out. Sounds like something serious anyway so your going to have to pull the gearbox out to fix whatever it is
  14. I was told to use..... acrylic? Im not sure.... I bought this stuff from supercheap that comes in small cans, its touch up spray paint basically but it seems to work well... Mines got a few scratches on it now, but that wouldnt have happened if I used clear coat.... But being silver, if I'd clear coated it I would have been blinded by the reflection of the sun Depending on what colour you want there might be a proper plastic and Vinyl paint out there. I used one of these on my VL before I had the skyline and it looked great right up until the day I sold it. Basically use either one of what I have suggested. I dont remember the brand of the paint from supercheap I used but pretty sure its got its own rack and theres heaps of colours. You'll probably want two cans (its only about $12 a can from memory anyway) and some plastic primer as well as a clear to go over the top. If you can find a gloss black and chuck some clear over it this might get your shiny black that your after. Experiment on the ash tray... I started by giving my panels a light sand with some 600 grit, cleaning with wax and grease remover, then spraying on some plastic primer. Let that dry then use your paint. Apply light coats as Its better to do 2 or 3 coats. Then a coat or two of clear if you choose to do that.
  15. As for the thing on your dash.... Looks like something aftermarket was there... or is there The sensor is behind the little grille to the right of it and you should be able to keep it by either putting the gauge far enough away that you dont have to cut it, or just pulling the sensor out and relocating it. The A/C may not work as well (on auto) but it will still work as normal as long as that is plugged in, You just might get to high a fan speed on auto as the sensor might be to far from the cool air As for painting the dash..... I'd say do whatever you like on that. I painted mine silver, as alot of people have done. I think the dash is just 'to black' especially in a black car, and mine was going bad in alot of places and I was lazy to find the stock colour. Some people like it, others dont. But I think it looks good with my Blue Dash/DVD screen/boost gauge/turbo timer etc etc. Just do whatever you think would look good For you
  16. GTR Badges - No My car came with a GTR wing and GTR N1 Rear Pods (As far as I can tell?), but I think its just the right amount of GTR parts on a GTST, No badges And I agree with the comment about the GTR inserts on the spoiler, blank them out. Mine have pretty average NISMO (Old style) stickers on them, One day ill sand them and respray them but for now I cant be bothered lol
  17. Does it easily go in gears when car is off? if so I'd say its looking a bit like your clutch has had enough and let go
  18. Sounds like it could be clutch..... So your saying if you try to start the car in first with foot on the clutch it lurches forward a bit but doesnt start? Were there any noises? bangs? etc
  19. As far as i know the only different is in the top end
  20. Diff arms? Do you mean the stub axles out of the diff or the driveshafts or.........? I put stands where the chassis rail joins the suspension assembly on either side. With the stands I've got they only just fit in there.
  21. No Search This seems to have been covered more and more lately. The series 2 bonnet is different to the series one, it cuts down at the front more (as the series 2 grille is smaller) and will probably sit closer to the headlights (or hang over them) If it does happen to fit it will look crap. I had a series 1 bonnet on mine with a series 2 front for a bit till i got my new bonnet painted and it was doable but there were gaps. The other way around but I think is a different story. Do the whole front end or get an aftermarket series 1 bonnet
  22. MAP sensor is placed off a vac line from the inktake manifold. Z32 AFM will do the job fine
  23. The last model SL Black, much nicer
  24. I just had my first couple of go's at the 'gun game' wager match. I found it put a bit of fun back into the game
