  1. bit late for me, I bought a PS3 500gb with Assasins Creed: Black Flag and The last of us in a pack for $290 good price at least, but free would have been better. Maybe I can get the 2 that I have laying around replaced
  2. Yes, just do it, then you shouldnt have to worry about anything for another 100,000km, which isnt exactly going to come around quickly. Do the belt, idlers, water pump, seals. I think people forget that the N1 water pump is designed for more track use. If your car is an everyday driver, or spends alot of time driving around the street, then get the pump that came with your car. Go genuine. I was given an RB30 pump (at least I'm pretty sure thats what it was) by mistake for my 25, and it didnt fit, because of the slotted hole
  3. Because I've tried others and the redline makes it heaps nicer between gears? I even tried ATF once
  4. Really depends where the spare -10 fitting is on the catch can (top, bottom etc)
  5. The first time I had this stuff in my gearbox it was fine. Now with the second lot it does it. Someone suggested a batch issue, which may be the case. I still think I'll try the super lightweight next time though
  6. Actually. I have a full set of valves if you really need them. Will have to wait till I'm home Wednesday to pull them all out but
  7. Erics performance parts in the US sold me valve guides at a good price. They have a fair bit of stuff. Cant say I ever looked at valves but worth a try As suggested though, getting a second hand head and robbing them out of there would be cheapest
  8. Well..... I was right, just not on the right subject lol............
  9. I play every now and again.
  10. I think I'm going to try the super lightweight oil next time. I didn't know it existed because everyone always raves about the lightweight
  11. Ahhh shit sorry. Yes my mistake I've screwed up there. whoops Continue without me
  12. I'm sure the link g4 outputs PWM to the solenoid to open or close it so much depending on how much air is required, so will have to check that out tonight.
  13. This is mine and sounds like the plug that is missing is for the solenoid which will be PWM so needs the right ECU feed. This is it
  14. Sounds like how I have mine setup and I have no issues
  15. I think it will be PWM controlled by the ECU. The other plug that you dont have (which is brown in the photo I have, on the valve itself) goes to a solenoid so will need PWM to allow varying amounts of air through
  16. Yeah well, that's all I would assume. I forget some people aren't like me and if something doesn't work I'd rather fix/replace it then get rid of it lol
  17. No they should come out together. Look for cut wires. If the harness is wrapped in electrical tape then the plug may have been cut at the harness and then wrapped up. Not sure why though
  18. I've driven an old BMW with no power steering or power assisted brakes and once I got used to it was one of the funnest cars I've driven. No power steering has its down sides of course but the steering feel was great. I'm not a fan at all of electronic steering, it is personal preference to a degree though. I hate electronic throttles though, I haven't driven a car with an electronic throttle that I have liked yet. None of them can quite keep up (or the way the engine management works with it) enough for me to enjoy it
  19. Sounds like you got a great car there! Little bit jealous
  20. Replaced by a 16 year old. That's gotta sting
  21. What do you mean you can't hook it up? The plug won't fit? The wire won't reach? What is the actual problem
  22. Don't you want to be able to check your oil with the dipstick? Using the cam cover fittings is what everyone does
  23. Figured as much. Thanks for confirming. Might get new struts before cutting mine lol
  24. I think it would be best IF you are dead set on upgrading. I thought that's what the link was all about of first then realized it was actually electrically assisting the steering shaft. I think you would definitely lose a bit of feel through the wheel with this So is the reason behind pulling the power steering pump out to save weight? If so I would suggest considering a pump that eliminates HICAS (unless you are using it, wouldn't think so but) because the P/S pump in my R33 doesn't feel awful heavy
  25. Does it just vent down from the filter then?
