  2. Highmount/external by looks, i want to see internal gate 56T vs 58T on stock manifold, thats what most people have/buy.. Also going back to the 56t, originally you where saying the 58t needed cams for more power from memory, but going back to 56T and still giving samish results, have you actually run out of turbine flow? cheers darren

Well if its auto, you will worry about loudness, as they drone about 50 times more than the manuals, and are excuriating to stay in, if its manual, just get all 3 inch and fart cannon and thats it C34 : I've had dump, no meow, full jap n1 fart cannon system, no mid muffler. 3 inch .., coudn't stay in it for more than 20 minutes without wanting to kill somebody due to drone , on the upside ...sounded like angry GTR on fullnoise even if it was slow then mid muffler..no real friggin difference, had to drive to melbourne with earplugs in, as the drone is worst at 100km, mid muffler now shits me as its lowest point of car and always scrapes on speed humps then mid muffler and chambered muffler necked to 2 1/2(not my friggin doing)..ultra quiet(to quiet) Atm going 38mm ex gate for full throttle noise, and check on dyno if chambered muffler kills power with 38mm gate. If it does will fit a boost operated solenoid with flapper valve after mid muffler to open under full boost , if it doesn't kill power, i will just remove mid muffler. cheers darren

  9. you sure you can see the comp housing in the video??, i cannot see it. (i watched it twice maybe im blind..lol)However i have seen the car in real life at the track and it looks like a standard vlt comp cover and then i saw it pull 139mph , apparently on only 30psi..if the cams hydraulic(which im guessing it is as i havnt seen a modded rocker cover, then its probally a tx2, [email protected] ish lift 117lsa cheers darren

  11. sorry, wasn't meant to be confrontational at all, just given stao a bit more info and wondering if he still thinks that, he knows his turbos, i genuinely would like to hear his thoughts, as it has me stumped unless they are bullshitting. fuel is E85, no gas. I reckon going by most jpc stuff it would be borgwarner parts fitted cheers darren
  12. haha..you think?...i was always going to ask you about this...It has a standard nissan vl comp cover..so same comp cover as standard Rb25 turbo..can you squeeze a 60mm comp wheel in a standard comp cover?...and next, thats 418rwkw through a AUTO...and thats dyno ..on that ramp rate... probally reads 40-60rwkw less than the dyno you use stao...and then the auto probally reads another 40rwkw less than a manual.. Car hasd run 140mph..punch that in, its nearly 680 ish hp at the crank...still think its a 3540 .63...because i know my rb30 single cams and you would struggle big time with a 1.06 housing to even get within 30rwkw of that... everyone would love to know what it is..lol cheers darren

  14. Jpc in vic, for some vl turbo setups, used to run 2 commordore ecus and two set's of standard injectors. Extra injectors, dodgy wmi setups with copper tubes that would gunk up and washer bottle motors., timing always retarded by cas, where typical stuff. Some of its clever how they got around things, some is dodgy. In american with the jza80 supras they have BPU mods. Back in the day, you'd pull out the headlight(worth2-3mph), drop the exhaust at the turbos , run race fuel and reset ecu to stop pulling timing, and pull the actuator hoses of the twin turbos. For no money you had a 11 sec-low 12 118-120 ish mph car cheers darren

  17. yep, new, ..worst china cooler kit i have ever seen, f**king pos...if you paid a workshop to fit it would cost a f**king fortune , absolute mongoloid...not angry at you, just telling you, if you go conventional..do NOT buy another one..lol i just put a 38mm turbodumb gate on my hypergear G3 turbo of exhaust housing, straight 90 right at the flange, in a stagea has to be close as it ends up to near to the strut tower for my liking, and i am not really sure making it a nice entry makes any difference, i would want to see the results backed to back to worry about piss farting around with it(for this car anyway) . I also woudn't be suprised if using different brands of gates made a big difference aswell cheers darren
  18. Turbo off, 044 and surge tank fitted, need to do lines, wiring done, ev14 injectors wired up, getting somewhere now. Car has new exhaust studs...sweet..but all the bolts where loose(undone with fingers..lol), and turbo side hose clamps where loose..boost leaks galore no wonder it never went anywhere..lol trialed scottys inlet pipe, looks like it fits well atm cheers darren

  22. i'm no expert,you'll have to look it up, but i think once you mix them together, methanol lasts for a long time or indefinitly, i thought it has a reaction when mixed with water I know it still f**king hurts in your eyes after 6 months in water..lol by itself it doesn;t last long. with a cdi i run water, but with stagea i had water, then 50/50, might go with 50/50 as ignition is "maybe" not the best(splitfires coils and b@m new volt 18V ignition amplifier), decide when the time comes.. and what it tunes like i hate mixing though, so might just try water first and if it makes 300rwkw on up to 23psi ish i'll be happy cheers darren
