Nice car, like the twin exhaust A few more pics in and out

Hi Daniel I thought the bloke said it was $468 or something like that, missed the $1000 part Well I got the info, I think it was one of those old sayings, if it seems too good to be true , it is too good to be true, The Premium is $1,416 , that was with a 15% discount for maximum no claim bonus BUT it was for $65,000 against Justcars $1900 for $45,000. So it is still a great price and apart from a Klm restriction of 9000Klms PA it is similar to a normal policy. I asked them about buying the car back if written off as there was nothing in the info I received, the bloke said this info is the same as there general insurance policy and you can buy it back and he would send me a copy to read , so I will wait until I read it before I take his word.. I think we all know that most of the money you spend on modifying your car is wasted if you have to or want to sell it ( I did not know this before I bought my car) I still would have bought a Skyline BUT I would have driven a couple of moded cars closer to what I wanted from the car first, not buy the first one I saw, haha So, I got insurance closer to a realistic price the car is worth ( nowhere near what I spent) but better than just the cars original price. I paid $45,000 for the car, it had $50,000 spent on it before I bought it..

I did look into buying one of these ( then I got divorced and the WFC hit, made it look twice as expensive, haha), but would have to drive 650Klms to be able to pay for the $3k tune,. But that is like paying $500 for a $30k car to be tuned, so it depends how deep your pockets are. GT-R , MAD car but an auto , I just got sick of driving an auto and went for the R34GTR and soon it will have some grunt But apparently you can afford it and if you really like the car, go for it they are great and push for a good service deal for a few years, get it By the time I get my R going how I want it there will be no change from $90k

No 2, but what colour is your car ? Love that blue with the Back #2s

Thanks mate, a soon as I have my speed back I will do it as it is hit and miss sending this So you are affiliated with Shannons, do you have Vintage insurance, my 34 is a 99 model , would you like to PM me Regards Pete

Thanks , so not in my area Are there other Skyline clubs in the Mid North coast. Had a quick look but I am on snail mail at the moment, my girls used up all the GBs bloody kids ,haha I think Shannons have some Hot Rod get togethers and Vintage, maybe I will look into those ? Computer back in action on the 14th, so I can go back to searching But maybe someone can point me in the right direction Cheers

Do they have this type of get together in other areas, I am in the Mid North Coast ? Cheers

Anyone Using A Quaife Diff?
Nismo 3.2ish replied to Lonewolf1983's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
From the reports on the front diff I would expect nothing less from the back, especially with the warranty they offer How is the 350GT going, had the " Dec 02" 350GT Skyline until a month ago ,.I put the APS TT system on it, it was a sleeper and surprised a few blokes out there, now my Son has it, I should have held onto it until my R34 came back from the build, miss not having a fun car to play with. -

I would be a dirtier old man if I could or they would let me , LOL

Get back on the bike Matt, use it as long as you can or in a few years you will not be able to see your feet or the other thing LOL
-
HAHA, be careful what you wish for, you might get it. I have 4 kids , 51,34,17and 13 years old, so as you can see I have still kept living , I am now a single Dad with the 2 youngest and they keep me young When you get older you reflexes start going downhill , you mind wants to still do all of the things you did before but your body says , PISS OFF ! Just had to stop golf again, back, shoulders and knees farked from being young ,LOL , it is not all that good being retired unless you are young and a shat load of money, apart from that, I liked working Sleep when you want, haha I have been retired for 8 years , I still wake up between 4 and 5am, OH, thats not counting the piss stops through the night, haha I had a good run and it was great, still love cars, like to LOOK at a beautiful Sheila ,, good food and wine so it is not all bad , well except for the just looking bit, that is all you will do because you look like shat to them and you become one of the invisible people , an old person! So mate my suggestion to you is, do the right thing in life, learn to like work and it will all work out, be a smart arse DH and you will get shit back in bucket fulls THE END

There is only one good thing about being an old fart, cheaper insurance, the rest is shit You young blokes get slugged big time

hi Joey, is this the model that is OK for a DD, works good cold, Do you track this model ? -
Wow, how much did you want to insure it for ? I had $45k on mine with Justcars and that was $1900 and I thought that was high. I think you can insure a new GT-R for less than that. Where you live, do you have it in a garage, driving record and how old you are also plays a big part in the cost
-
Hi Daniel Those dash cams seem to be worth the $$$$s paid, well if you are in the right Well I was surprised at the low price NRMA gave me but I will wait until I get the policy to confirm I got it right, I would suggest anyone that does not track there car and it is the weekender in a garage, I would give them a call and as long as you meet their criteria it is a great deal.. I also got another $20k of insurance ,$65k instead of $45k, a bit closer to what the car is worth, well to me but not enough to cover price and mods, haha
-
Holly shit you are way in front, not that you want to be, sorry to hear that farken sad story. Must have knocked you on your arse and broken your heart after all that time, a sad story. But maybe it will get someone to get insurance and save them from a similar fate , not that this will happen again anytime soon :( What do you have to do to get it up and going ?

Anyone Using A Quaife Diff?
Nismo 3.2ish replied to Lonewolf1983's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hope it works in your favour -
I spoke to a bloke there this morning, you cannot use it as a DD or track and be eligible for vintage insurance You should have a main DD, a garage , good driving track record, not drive over 9000Klms a year but 9000Klms of driving is a fair amount for the second car , 173 Klms a week , 24 a day. I will be getting all of the info next week and be able to read the fine print, thats the test, haha

Nismo 3.2ish replied to Lonewolf1983's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I paid $1854 delivered for mine from Just Jap but it was mid July and the $ was stronger, so $1500 is great now if it includes everything
