  1. I use 98RON and WMI, no problem but never been pulled up for an inspection either. I have been pulled over a few times, but generally only RBT or a look at the car and tyres etc....never had to lift the bonnet. But I don't do epic skidz, no sh1tz and giggles. Had my WMI for maybe 10 years, I'd need to look up my receipts.
  2. Sorry but is just looks like a bad half cut repair to me.
  3. Do you roll them or use a bong????
  4. Has your car ever been in a front end collision?
  5. The rust - in the pics - only looks minor. More could be hidden away. The jack points are always abused, you need an original jack or an adaptor plate on your jack to avoid damaging the jack points. I made up a plate to prevent further damage , but my car had already been molested. The 'unusual join point or weld' I can't really comment on except to say its hard to know where on the car it is from the photo and that it looks serious.
  6. Did away with my ashtray years ago ?
  7. I have one of these:
  8. There used to be a 3 gauge pod for R33's, I got one for mine. I can't remember who, some business called Taikaka or something was doing them. It was years ago, sorry I can't be more exact....lost in the mists of time. And yeah, re the EVC 5, what was once the cutting edge of boost management and getting the nest out of your turbo only 5 or 10 years ago [and which worked fine] are now outdone by the next big thing. But you can get some absolute bargains out there if you are willing to step back from 'modern'. I know my tuner keeps telling me to ditch my 7 for something better...…..but why, ok on a dyno it shows less response than a modern one, but it works fine on the open road, no lag or issues felt at all.
  9. Already run it too...by the look of the s/s
  10. They are ok, there are better ones out there these days...there always is!!! I have 7 btw, so same sh#t different bucket.
  11. I still have mine...but I'm not in the ACT. Surely Jayce and some other diehards still have theirs?
  12. No true believers left in the ACT? surely not?
  13. Drive straight...don't go round corners!!! Question: Did this happen more than once? ie do you manage to get the car going again after a while?
  14. CBF'ed….. just hang a smelly xmas tree on the rear view, crack a stubby, kick back and admire your work ?
  15. Ok, well depends on the interpretation of big boost I guess. I have a std BOV with a different spring setup [so long ago I can't remember what spring I used, but it was changed, I remember doing the maths for it and the WG spring back then] and its working fine.
  16. Above 400hp? So an external wastegate setup? if so, I'd be asking about your mani, wastegate type and spring rate way before a BOV. I'd also save my $$$ [spend it on real improvements] and stick with the standard Nissan BOV.
  17. It also depends on how you drive it.....drive it like you stole it or race it on the track and its as reliable as the weather. Look after it and drive it sensibly on the road and they are so reliable that you forget about asking. An old car in the future...……...why do I keep thinking MJ and the DeLorean?
  18. Molested...is a term often used used ….and not always by peds and priests. The trick is to buy a standard or pre loved but not molested +20 year old Supra and Skyline.
  19. Sometimes its by the same factory......ie on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we make Honda motors...……..on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we make something that looks like a Honda motor in every detail BUT has a different name [pick one].
  20. Hope you got a good one ....the Chinese cheapies don't seem to last.
