  1. +1 for Remsa's and +11ty billion for GLS Rallysport. Remsas are a great pad, no squealing or poor low temp response; and when they're warm; wow! They are dusty, but I'd rather have brakes that work; than wheels that stay clean on a car that doesn't stop. Brake dust washes off anyway.
  2. So hang on; I need a flatcap, green wheels, some cheap fluoro sunglasses, a rusty bonnet, a freaking tricycle on mah roof; AND a rope? I'd use it to hang myself.
  3. Very nice!
  4. If you have paid the fine (effectively admitting fault), you may have eliminated any avenue of appeal regarding your license suspension. Get in touch with Mark Stenberg; http://www.lawstop.com.au/ He is a traffic specialist, a rider, and car enthusiast. He defended me in a potentially very serious matter earlier this year, and secured an excellent outcome for me. He is a fantastic bloke and a very straight shooter. If you do speak to him; feel free to let him know that Dale Laughton recommended him. Be aware that this sort of thing is quite expensive; but so are the potential repercussions of loss of license. Good luck, Dale
  5. Good on you for getting a Group Buy together; I hope all the C34 owners make the effort worth you while!
  6. Sumitomo kits are about $30- $50 on Fleabay ;http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NISSAN-Skyline-Sumitomo-4-Piston-BRAKE-SEAL-REBUILD-KIT-Front-Disc-Brake-Caliper-/400486674567?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d3eddb087&_uhb=1 When I stripped & rebuilt my Sumitimo's; the seals were so good I ended up re-using them. A bath in some hot, soapy water and they were good to go. Admittedly, they looked like they'd done very little work.
  7. Hi Terry, I'd like to come along to this one please!
  8. You has pics of Hachi? My workshop owning mate just offloaded his 20V headed, GZE bottom ended AE86 a little while ago; was good for an 11.1 quarter! 330mm Wilwoods and a tonne of fun bits. Very lively to drive.
  9. The f**kers jaw would bloody fall off if he saw what you're rollin' in now.
  10. Good to hear you've had a response, hopefully it gets resolved without issue from here on.
  11. Stagea calling!
  12. Actually, I think those red rings might need a bit of Photoshop to remove... But yeah; I'm going with oxidation. Time for some love.
  13. Don't forget your large deposits of naturally occurring awesomeness. They have to make you faster.
  14. Lol, maybe it was dads subtle, yet effective technique for ensuring no-one had lowered cars... Well played.
  15. Is it your own place or a rental? Half a day with a wet saw & some concrete would see that made a lot more accessible.
  16. Lol, at least he had a go...
  17. Fuel Flap Snub Rubbers; The little rubber buttons that hold the fuel flap flush with the rear quarter panel. Nissan P/N; 78837-AG000
  18. Because it will have looked for the brake wire signal & generally spotted a fault in that time. Mine sometimes goes weeks without throwing the fault; so it can be a bit hit & miss.
  19. John from Precision recommended I drill mine to 4mm; so I did. No issues with mine. I popped my new genuine Nissan one after about a month; failed just as the car started. I bought a WRX one the 2nd time. It seems to be going fine. It fits about 4 billion different models, so at least they're easy to get.
  20. Good to hear you have it back, but make sure you haven't got back a shitbox. 4500km is plenty of time to wreck a car. I'd be getting a trusted specialist to go right through it; to ensure you don't end up footing a bill for thrash related repairs down the track. Complete fluid flush (diffs, gearbox, coolant, engine oil, brake/clutch fluid etc), and a full going over. Hope they catch the f**ker.
  21. Yep, I'd be looking to get an endoscopic camera in through the spark plug holes just in case any of that made though.
  22. Sunday is double time. We'll see.
  23. I'm working on the 16th. Ahh well.
