  1. Trace the piping from the throttle body/intake manifold all the way along the intercooler piping and see if a hose has come loose or split. It would be making noise somewhere along that sucking in air from before the air filter.
  2. It really comes down to whether the illegal modification contributed to the accident or not. Things like slicks in the wet etc. They're not gonna void a rear ender because you have a hollinger.
  3. Let's be honest we are all driving descendants of the original hot hatch with 40" steelies
  4. It's nothing like a PlayStation have you even driven one rah rah rah security rah rah
  5. Probably what I'd upgrade to after offloading 33R to an American Seem less special the cheaper they get though How would you cope with only 357kw?
  6. Seems a better prospect than the MX5, at least for a base to establish decent power. MX5 roadster has great looks but 124 looks bigger and classier in pics.
  7. How much for the oil cooler?
  8. European version of kei cars? I think Volkswagen dominate the hot hatch market because they got the formula right: reasonably priced, practical, small, decent looking, quick. Power is missing from a lot of so called hot hatches or flagship/sport model small cars. The AMG A45 is more popular than it should be in this segment because it's one of the quickest. Hyundai Veloster, Astra SRi, Toyota 86, MX5 are all fun cars to drive except in a straight line. There is enough price gap that if they came with a decent bit of grunt they would walk all over the Europeans. I mean, how hard would it have been for Toyota to put a turbo 2.0 in the 86 and who wouldn't pay a 6-7k premium for it when there was/is 8k difference between base and GTS models anyway?
  9. How you know the seller is a tool: they are offering numberplates 695-500 for $5k extra, when selling the car without would render them worthless. Don't know why people think rare suddenly means valuable. Rare + desirable makes valuable. It would be a fun car but only some Fiat mad rich guy would see value in that...and who knows...there may be one out there, like there is with Alfa Romeo nutjobs.
  10. Oh dear...hope they didn't get any money out of someone...
  11. Those are series though...within them they seem to continuously release an array of cards like 1050 1060 1070 1080 1080ti Titan XP etc.
  12. lol reminds me, some guy at work fooled the IT department into building him a rig with a Quadro card saying he needed it for CAD...he had it mining bitcoins 24/7. He is...no longer with us.
  13. I can't keep up with GPU releases these days Maybe my time awareness isn't on track, but in the teenage years it was a big deal when Nvidia released any new model like the GeForce 2 GTS. Now the number on the end just seems to go up every other month.
  14. Weird. Computers and components are so cheap these days. Everything seemed so much more expensive when I was a teenager saving for a build. My shoebox is a tight fit but small desk footprint and about as small a case as you can get with full sized components / decent power supply. Very portable for LANs not that people really do those anymore. Surprisingly doesn't get that hot, except in summer, where the side of the case will burn your hand...and I run a USB fan pointed into the vent nearest the CPU.
  15. *****Sold Holding Deposit Taken. If sale falls threw will contact messages left on phone****** That wasn't on the ad this morning, so I'm guessing it's a legit / recent ad. Could be a scammer looking for a deposit? Surely not a seller who hasn't done their research...I do hope it was priced accordingly or we did miss a bargain haha. We'll see it back up there for 120 in a few weeks...
  16. He meant to post that in the Aussie R32 thread
  17. Mine is a shoebox mini itx Bout 5 years old but still doing everything I need with ease
  18. As long as it runs CS:GO I see no need for an upgrade No time/interest in any other games at the moment
  19. That surely won't last long if it's in fact a Nur?
  20. Having just seen your pay agreement for next year I'm not pulling out the violin <3
  21. Read the thread? At least the last couple pages...
  22. If the driver's window reg/motor works, I'll take it Edit: sorry, just realised sedan
  23. The assumption is that you put in the hard yards (read: unpaid overtime) when you're young / at the bottom to prove yourself for a promotion that you may not receive. Actually illegal to push that on employees, but enjoy your corporate glass ceiling if you are getting there and leaving on time.
  24. Most of us in corporate jobs are doing 10 a day anyway once you factor in overtime and early starts
  25. This is why bitcoin is and will always be limited to black market / non mainstream / outskirt trading, no matter how valuable it becomes. Those against methods of decentralising currency also happen to control means of production (/stalin). For the same reasons, investment in oil exploration is in no danger of renewable energy shutting it down... Low flowing frac fluid on the other hand, though...
