  1. Yeah sorry Troy, I'm pretty set right now. Hold off for a few weeks and I may be interested hehe
  2. hahaha was waiting for that one
  3. ^ You treat your car like a king.... good to see
  4. Just saw a nice light blue/sliver r32 on my way home from Fyshwick. Richard?
  5. Car thieves also target CIT at Bruce. There's this one parking spot that always has shattered glass.
  6. epic once it kicks off...
  7. How would it go getting passed for rwc and rego? Anything need to be addressed in particular? Can PM if you want.
  8. Elliot Hulse (guy in vid above) is the only source, other than nerding it up in books, I'll go to these days when wanting to know something about my training. The guy knows his shit.
  9. Lol I said IF he wanted to lose the puffy look. No way in hell should he be thinking about cutting yet...
  10. hahaha growing a vagina.... Yes there are two insertions (for pec minor, pec major) but starting with incline presses won't actually stimulate growth there too much more than a flat press. Hell, even if you do mill presses with a slight angle back on the bench your chest contracts. Just jab an epipen into pec minor then hit your incline presses.... Figjam, doth thou even hoist? lol kidding, but if you're really trying to gain size as you say, then yes, you will have deposited fat in your lower chest which gives you that sagging/bitch tits look. If you were to cut back some bodyfat your chest would probably look more like you want it to.
  11. Come to think of it, here's an interesting discussion point.... When doing incline presses, what angle (roughly) do you have the bench at? Birds says 45 degrees, I go much less.
  12. Recently with the 40's I've been getting someone to hand me one of the DB's when I get into position rather than spending too much time in struggle town getting them there myself. More energy for my actual set.
  13. Saw these pics last night. Very clean buddy, well done.
  14. "I walk to the truck" hahaha lost my shit
  15. If it helps you sleep better at night, we took a vid of him doing the lift. Paused at chest level too if that makes it official. I'll see if I can get it off his phone.
  16. Interesting looking through those figures for the main lifts. Close friend of mine is about 90kg BP 175kg (new PB tonight) DL 220kg (last I heard before he screwed his back) SQ ??? Would have to double check with him on his dead and squat figures, but the interesting thing in posting these results up is that he doesn't do any strength specific programs, nor has he ever done so. In other words, he does bodybuilding-type training but still lifts big.
  17. No, your body won't be digesting the steak you ate before, but the protein source you ate many hours before is already broken down into these "free form" aminos. Although workouts are the most catabolic period of your day, catabolism as a whole is a bit of a laugh when people think it's serious enough that you'll start to waste away in a few hours. If anything, I would be worried about carb intake post workout as this will aid in the increased insulin response by the body to carry post workout protein to the muscles. But then again, all of this is just a bit of a laugh if you look deeper into the science of energy production in the body from food sources, and the lactic acid & ATP-PCr energy systems in particular (think regeneration.. )
  18. Honestly though, unless your demands are high, whole foods are the way to go as some sources provide strong amino profiles.
  19. haha thought so ^ . Crossfit is shit for outright strength, but great for power.
  20. You sirs, have too much time at hand. Doth thou even labour?
  21. Not sure what you meant by that quote :s My sarcasm senses are tingling.
  22. Unless your workouts are quite long, and/or you work out a few times a day you may find it won't have much of an effect if you're an amateur gym dude like you mentioned. Tell your mates to stop being so stingy and try a couple serves of theirs before you potentially waste your money.
  23. Lol powerlifters and bodybuilders/gym goers... Can't we all just get along? Not going to give an opinion on BCAA's as I haven't used them enough to voice a proper opinion, although I tend to think my stamina has been ever so slightly better during workouts in which I've used Scivation Xtend. The only supplement I have used now which I really appreciate is CREATINE. Yes even I've put down creatine before, but whether a placebo or not, my strength in the gym has been higher than usual. On another topic, INTERMITTENT FASTING: Yay or Nay? Has anyone actually tried it long enough to provide some decent feedback? TTT, how are you finding it so far?
