Bc Racing Coilovers?
Mitcho_7 replied to RB25PWR's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Perhaps a camber adjustable bush kit or camber arms? They should give you a decent amount of adjustment. -
I know there's no real difference with adjustable intake cam gears even if they preserve vct, but whats the general concensus on exhaust cam gears for rb25dets? Do they produce any worthwhile gains over the standard cam gear?
-
I wasn't bagging your stuff stao, I'm happy with my turbo. What I meant was don't look in the Hypergear thread at the dyno sheets and see that someone made 260+rwkw on standard highflow and expect the same number because it's all dependent upon individual setups.
-
I wouldn't expect quite as good of a result as the dynosheets in the hypergear thread as his test car has a fresh engine and an aftermarket exhaust manifold. Having said that they will produce good numbers for the cost! I would worry about making sure the engine is all good before thinking about buying a new turbo to stick on it.
-
It's like $20 to post to hypergear and $20 or so back and $900 odd for the highflow compared to $1800 or so from gcg.
-
That's pretty decent, Id be happy with that. I think I am well on track for that at the moment. He's more ripped than built. I'm a skinnier sort of build, so I don't think I posses the genetics to get built like some of the other pics in here unless I get on the juice...
-
Don't roll over that easy, it's the principle of the matter. If it's been done to you and the guy gets away with it, what's to say he won't do the same thing to someone else again later? I say confront the bloke about it, but don't start accusing him straight up. See what he says when you question him about what you have found.
-
From memory Damo's quote was a little bit more then gsl, but nothing major.
-
Brilliant attitude!!! Your running ext gate with .82 with type b poncams aren't you? When is full boost hitting?
-
as mentioned above PM gslrallysport, theyll give you a great price. I got qfm hpx pads front and rear with dba 4000 rotors front and rear not that long ago for like $860 delivered or something if i remember correctly. Damo at racingready.com is in belconnen and he can get them for you as well.

Pretty sure it's only the djetro power fc that has a map sensor... They are harder to find for r33 gtst's. If you want a map sensor get a link/haltech
-
see if you can borrow a known working AFM from someone locally before you go buying one i say
-
mila kunis is a little too skinny for my liking. Justin Timberlake still has a scrawny look about him as well IMO
-
It can be there for reference when he has done some research then i guess. OP, I think part of choosing a turbo comes down to how much power you want and what you are going to use the car for. If its a purely street driven car then the response is probably going to be more important because its nice having 300rwkw but how often will you be at 6500+rpm in 4th gear on the street to make use of all that power? Having said that, 300kw at your disposal would be boss haha! The turbo choices I listed were just going off of the 3037 size that you mentioned you were interested in.
-
If you want to skimp on cost, get a z32 ecu and put a nistune board in it and then get a profec b boost controller or something similar. Should cost about $850 or so. If you can get a 3037 or 2835 pro s by all means do it, neither will dissapoint you but they are a little harder to come by these days. A gt3076r or gt3071 will be good options as well or look at the hypergear range such as an ss1pu or the G3/2.5. You need to decide if you want to run internal or external gate though. Seeing as you seem like your are new to everything i think you would be best served going internal gate and if you want the turbo to bolt up to the stock exhaust pipe then a hypergear will suit you. You can get gt3076 turbos with the nissan 6 bolt dump pattern but they apparently arent the greatest. On top of the turbo and ecu the other things you will need: 3"+ metal intake pipe Front mount intercooler 3"+ turbo back exhaust 555cc+ injectors (if e85 you will need bigger) Upgraded fuel pump (nismo/tomei and bosch are good) Z32 air flow meter A clutch capable of holding around 300kw Set aside $$ for the possibility of new coilpacks as well Im sure there are probably other things you will need as well, but thats all i can think of off the top of my head. I recommend you do a lot of reading and searching through threads in this section as all the info you need is here

I always thought cold caused peripheral vasoconstriction... If you're sending more blood to an area that is cold, this will cool your blood. That same cold blood then goes elsewhere in your body and will cool it. Your body will always prioritize keeping a higher core temp than peripheral temp to keep everything in homeostasis. A good example of this is frostbite.

Is your physio doing any form of myofascial release? If not ask them about it. It's a technique which helps seperate the layers of fascia when they become adhered to the muscle due to inactivity etc. It can help to decrease intramuscular pressure because it no longer sticks o the muscle tissue and allows the muscle to operate independently of the fascia as it is designed to do rather than constricing it. If physio isn't working, then a fasciectomy might be your only option for long term relief. They pretty much just slice the fascia around the outside of the affected muscle which releases the pressure build up around the muscle (in this case your calf) which is compressing your tibial nerve and occluding the tibial artery distribution which is generally what causes the pain.

Those are pretty hard to come by these days, they have been discontinued haven't they?

Best Looking Wheels On An R33 Gtst
Mitcho_7 replied to Nick033's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Where were people getting the buddyclub p1 rims in 18" from, preferably matte black? I can seem to find any retailers online that sell them. There is the rota boost rims which are the same design and cheaper but I would like legit p1s if I can get them. -
Yeh, they kinda had you up against a wall. I feel for you man, you have had such bad luck with your car.
-
I would be tearing them a new one if they broke that and then had the nerve to charge you $1600 as well... Im guessing by the fact that you have the car back that you coughed up the cash?
-
So just splice into the maf signal wire and it all works the same? You run yours off of boost yeh? Have you had any dramas running it that way or do you think its a better option all round to run off IDC and MAP/MAF?
-
Have you ever setup an aquamist hfs 3 on a z32 nistune ecu? I guess it'd be a matter of tapping into one of the injectors wiring for the duty cycle, but how do you go about the MAP part with a standalone electronic boost controller?
-
I wouldn't mind more info on your exhaust manifold that's on you car at the moment stao. Things like price and is it for ig or eg or both with the eg blocked off etc.
